Fantastic race between two skilled racers.

Kurse - Constant repetition of the same nonsense gives it no more credibility - give us a rest. Its obvious that you don't like Rossi, but if you don't like, or understand, circuit racing, try following drag racing (no bends, separate tracks)!

Drag racing? Are you kidding? Have you not seen the fireball that erupts when those things crash? I would rather take my chances with Rossi smiley

Damn good race.
Stoner is a great rider but a bad loser.
He needs to grow up.

Best race of the season so far.
Stunning display by Stoner and Rossi but I agree with gururob and others. Casey needs to keep it buttoned and let his riding speak for him.
He puts me a bit in mind of Fogarty, great racer but let down by a flappy mouth.
Roll on Brno and the rest of the season.

They call us wingeing poms, the only time you see a smile on Stoners face is when he is in front with no one to race. Well done Rossi!

I was there! Fantastic race twixt Rossi and Stoner.
Very impressed with the set up at Laguna Seca, very impressed with the police traffic control, very impressed with the ordinary bikers in the US.
Can't believe they can leave their jackets and helmets on their bikes and find them still there when they get back!
My only complaint, it was distinctly chilly, not what I expected of California.

Foggy may have had a flappy mouth but he would not have complained about others overtaking him. Stoner is just a talented kid who needs to grow up and realise he can't have everything his own way, every day of the week. Having watched this race 4 times now it is obvious Rossi just out fought and out thought Stoner.

More importantly, let's hope the racing remains as close for the rest of the season.

The best race i have ever watched.I fell off the sofa a few times and twisted like a bag of ferrets.
Stoner will look back at this race and know that it was special, that he raced the best bike rider ever.
As he was crying to the reporter,he should of been man enough to know he was beaten.
A great day.

Can't believe Stoner moaning!!! What does he expect in MotoGP, hand signals and give way signs?? Come on Stoner, put your toys back in the pram, and get on with your job...

Jet13on, this site isn't about what you were hoping for, who cares. Everyone has the option to bash or celebrate their guy. You want to be the internet security for Casey Stoner, hoping he doesn't get ripped. Rossi took care of that on Sunday, and we the Valentino fans will do the rest. I hope you and Casey have a calculator handy at the end of the season, you both will need it to tally up Rossi points. Go Val!!!!!!. FYI to all who said it wasn't clean racing, they have an old saying here in the states, "If someone hit you", "then you hit them back". Casey didn't get hit or treated dirty, he simply panicked and ran wide, locking the brakes. That's the bottom line.
