Fergie looking to sign one player

Premier League Manchester United

Ferguson has said manutd have placed a bid for a player who he believes would enhance the quality of the squad. Judging from recent speculation you would think that is was Berbatov. Personally i think he would be a magnificent signing for us. People complain that he doesnt have the electric pace, but he isnt slow. His magnincent frist touch and goal scoring is first class. Not only would he score goals but also create them aswell. But after reading some articles on 606, people are saying it may be Huntelar or another . Please discuss if Berbatov would be the right signing for us or is Fergie planning another surprise.

Why do so many people believe the red-nosed p***k's denials? He said so on the Official Man Utd website.
.......................................
There is no where on the united website that has fergie saying it is berbatov.
Tbe only thing there is, is an article took directly from the sun if you read it properly muppet.
Neil Custis from the sun has already said this morning that they got the story from manchester united supporters not fergie.

However, the full statement made on the Spurs site about the complaints against Man U and Liverpool stated that the club had evidence of both clubs continuosly breaking the rules and making contact with players and agents without permission. That goes far beyond what Fergie did or did not say to The Sun.

----------------------------------------------

That's yet to be seen though isn't it? If he really does have evidence, i'd have thought he'd have complained by now rather than react to a story he read in The Sun.

"Gunnerbeback" what you wrote doesn't make any sense -

"Poor mancs, forced to live in a state of denial about the sly tricks of old red nose-you are to naivety what half your wart-hog faced team are to beauty"

That implies that the 'Poor Mancs' are infact not naive. Just as the wart-hog faced team are not beautiful, so the mancs are not Naive.

G'night Muppet

Berbatov has joined the exit frenzy and moved to Sunderland for a reported fee of 12£ million Pound and Michael Chopra, who will partner Bent upfront.

This brings the numbers of Tottenham players moving to the Stadium of Light to 5. The reason of these moves lie with the higher quality of life in Sunderland in comparison with Londons Northern suburbs.

tbh manu don't need berbatov they all ready have an amazing strike force with rooney tevez and co.
------------------------

Hahaha... really?? You really believe that???

Take Ronaldo out of the equation and Rooney and Tevez wouldn't have won you jack. In fact, lose Ronaldo, don't get a full on striker and see what happens next season.

That won't happen though - if he does go there'll be someone lined up, like Berbatov of Huntelar. I've only seen Berbatov play a couple of times but must say I was really impressed every time. His first touch is incredible, different class to most players, up there with Bergkamp. He has vision too - a really dangerous player. The thing going against him is his attitude, but that is probably down to being surrounded by muppets with less than half his talent. A move to Utd would probably sort him out. I for one would not be happy to see him go there as it would just make it harder for anyone else to win the league. But then, it'd be to the detriment of Spurs, so there's always a silver lining....

I would personally love to see berbatov at united. He is a fantastic player who would help the whole team, i believe that it would benefit the performances of rooney and tevez as they will have competition for the first team.

Re: Gunning for the top

RVP to Arsenal is the same as Rooney is to Man Utd. Eduardo the same as Tevez. Rosicky is the same as Scholes but Scholes still turned in over 30 games this season.

Take Tevez, Rooney and Scholes out of the team for the majority of the season and you really believe that you would have finished four points ahead of a team who had to play the majority of the season without key players?

Man Utd only won the league by 4 points with a fully fit squad baring G.Neville. If you believe tyhat injuries did not play a major factor then you have no common sense.

========================================

Sure but if we look at two of the years that Arsenal won the league, 1998 and 2004 we can say that Roy Keane was absent for 8 months of the 98 season and Rio Ferdinand was absent for 7 months of the 2004. Keane was to Man Utd what Viera was to Arsenal and Ferdinand the same as Campbell. Do you think Arsenal would have won the league in 98 and 04 respectively had they been missing Viera and Campbell for the majority of these seasons? It’s all relative isn’t it?

If Scholes got injured (and he did, actually), Anderson would come in. Every United fan will tell you how well he performed.

We had Nani as a squad player last season, and he'd walk into most premiership starting line ups with ease, he's a superb young winger.

I don't agree with comparing Eduardo to Tevez. More like Eduardo to Saha. Saha played an average of about 2 games before suffering a new injury, or an old one flaring up again. Van Persie I'll give you, but Rooney didn't exactly have a trouble free season either.

Arsenal did a very fine job considering their troubles though, I'll admit that, and will be a factor in the title race next year.

I think Berbatov is lazy and over-rated. True, he could improve by moving to a club who challenge for important trophies, but then again he seems to me to be a player who doesn't like hard work, so I think he would be back off to another middle-order English club after a season and a half!
