We're a bit confused by the Warner signing. He doesn't have a great reputation and we already had two keepers, so he comes in as a third.

Worryingly, we found out today, that we also have an Argentinian keeper, with an equally dodgy reputation on trial at the moment.

Tragic for Argyle and what a surprise, an undisclosed transfer fee. No doubt at least a fiver of that money will go into investing in new players.

These seems like pretty good signings for Hull - plenty of premiership experience. They're still going to be up against it, but I hope they stay up...

Good luck Hull, hope you do well next season. Weren't you lads going to take Ricardo Rocha from us as well? I hope so, he isn't getting games with us but he's a pretty decent player all in all and I doubt he'd be over priced. Anyway all the best, from a Spurs fan.

i honestly believe george boeteng is an amazing signing he will be very competitive in the middle of the park just what you need to fight off relegation and halmosi is also a good signing warner only a sub but still bolsters up the team
i disagree with real giant tho atm just becasue what hull (and all promoted teams) need is a guranteed goalscorer wigan in 05/06 where so successful cos they had the pace of camara with the power of roberts up front whereas hull only have dean windass but hes 40 and i duno if cambpell is coming back

Next signings IMO: -

Ricardo Rocha
Anthony Gardner
A Meite
Roy Makaay
Delroy Buckley
Campbell on loan

With these, Hull should have a very good team. There the signings that i can see happening, perhaps Olofinjana may join as well.

As a Fulham fan I can give you my opinion on Tony Warner: On his day he could be absolutely brilliant, but he quite often made stupid mistakes.

I am a Boro fan.

George Boateng will add a new dimension to your midfield. He will become an instant favourite with you Tigers. He will influence and motivate the whole team. But do not make him Captain. He is an instinctive leader who does not need the Captain's armband.
We will miss him. Your local press will love him, he will always be available for an honest comment.
Good luck to Deano as well. The man is a LEGEND in Middlesbrough, we loved him.

£2m to Plymouth Argyle for Halmosi ???

Am I missing something here ?? I had had my head in the sand for several months !

Honestly not a WUM comment - I seriously am flabbergasted that PA held a player worth £2m ! (again no WUMMERY intended).
