Just read that Vitali Klitschko is making a return to fight Samuel Peter for his WBC title. Does anyone think Vitali will actually make it through his traning camp this time?

also does anyone know if Manny Steward trains Vitali as well as his brother?

I dont see him making back to anywhere near his best, his been out for a long time and he retired because of injury, even if he does remain injury free, the ring rust will be too much, I see Peter stopping him with hsi power.

Yes lets have 2 brothers dominate the heavy division like the Williams sisters dominate female tennis at wimbledon.

Haye should fight Vitali to get to his brother wlad

I'd really fear for Haye against a fully fit Vitali. I'd imagine that even if he stays fit and beats Peter, Vitali's only got a couple of years in him. I'm just not confident that Vitali's body will stand up to the rigours of training and fighting. It's very rare to see someone come back after a long absence and be a force. For Haye's potential fights against the brothers - he'd be the underdog against Wlad but at least Wlad can't take a punch. Vitali has a great chin and would go toe-to-toe with Haye, probably getting an explosive KO. Of course if Vitali's body packs in we'll never know...

Boom Boom Bam and down goes the Dr who will obviously then need a doctor after being KO'd by Peter.

Sorry but maybe im missing something here. Im reading the threads her as though Vitali is his murderous puncher, well i suggest you watch his fights. Most of his stoppae wins come from wearing oponents down rather than a one punch k.o, in that respect Vlad is the bigger hitter. I saw someone mentioning about vitali going toe to toe withbHaye, i doubt it, vitali has never gone toe to toe with anyone, he fights cautiously behind a jab, he is a very mechanical but effective fighter, i accept he has a good chin, as he took two massive uppercuts from Lewis in round 6 of their fight, mind you he was absolutely gone at the end of that round (the myth is he would have beaten Lewis as he was knackered, but i suggest people watch the fight again, it was vitali who was out on his feet at the end) Vitali had it not been for injury im sure would have made a few more defences, but he would have got battered by a FULLY FIT AND FOCUSSED LEWIS if a rematch had occurred.

Even with his lay off, he is still probably the best of a very very VERY bad bunch.
I think if he catches Peter then Peter will go down.

As for Lewis beating Vitali if they had had a rematch, I totally agree.

** Yeah, the short bus just drove by.

Not counting on Vitali making it out of training, but the guy must be motivated to be attempting this again, and Peter is the perfect style for his straight shots.

If Vitali can stand up for 3 rds, that's a couple dozen flush rights landed on Peter and 5 beached whale flops by Peter after 5 bunny dances, and boom, both brothers champs and mission accomplished.

Might even lure Lewis out of retirement since they've been retired for almost the same length of time.

Lewis had turned the tide already in the first fight with VK, I thought - after weathering the early storm. VKs face was a mess, even if he was slightly ahead he would never have gone the distance.
Lennox always struggled a bit with fighters equally as big as him, simply because he rarely fought them - ie, the Bruno fight.
Saying that, Vitali (if fit) is a different proposition to his brother and Haye would struggle with him.

Just ignore London Ring Rules because he's mis-quoting again!!!
I personally hope Vitali comes back; if he's successful he will be dangerous to anyone in a very lacklustre division at present.

Lewis "always struggled against fighters equally as big as him"? He demolished Golota and Grant in quick time!
