When will the FA get round to charging themselves with bringing the game into disrepute. Hang in there Luton and best of luck

With the england manager fiasco, west ham fiasco, tottenham fiasco, leeds fiasco, now the luton fiasco, if you dropped this many B------S at work you'd be sacked ,, so lets hope they get sacked and get young& trendy guys in there who care about grassroots football and not just Bloody money,,,,, we will survive !!! Glenn a hatter fan forever !!

How many times does it need to be said that this is not the FA, it is the Football League. Argue all you want about whether both are run by donkeys but they are two separate organisations, and it is the Football League who have punished Luton Town and not the FA.

And contrary to the Liverpool fan commenting above, it is not wrong for the club to be punished for the wrongdoing of previous administrations. The club itself is registered with the FL and, as such, as with any company, they are liable for the behaviour of their employees.

If that were not the case, how long do you think it would take for someone to commit some massive rule breaches to the advantage of their club in the knowledge that all they have to do is walk away and the club avoids any punishment whatsoever (and gets to keep those advantages)?

Sorry ... of course the 10 points in respect of the transfer irregularities is indeed the FA. My apologies.

Carry on!

what a sad situation for a great club like luton town

as a forest fan, we have had our hard time sover the years, but that has been largely our own on the field fault

hope you know that all decent football fans will be rooting for yous to stay up and in mick harford, you have a great hard working manager to give yous a chance (its still a tarvesty we didnt give him a longer run at forest)

good luck for the season luton

I wish you all the best for the new season.

Fairly or not, Luton have felt the full meddling of the FA and FL. I think the average fan will feel that these organisations don't much help the lower leagues.

In the interest of Luton Town, the people who have jobs there and the sport, perhaps the penalty should either have been a choice of:

1. Straight relegation to non-league to spend the season working for promotion back.

2. Stay in the league and have your points penalty split over 2 seasons to give you a chance of staying up and possibly in business. That could set a dangerous precedence, though.

Luton will need an exceptional season to stay in the League and I hope you have one. Lets hope you gain many paying fans during this difficult time.
