It seems that the injury to ferguson has giving walter the good kick up the backside he needed to go and get davis. Heres hoping it isnt too late to get the young irish lad, as blackburn are also interested in signing him.

Also in the news, rangers have put an offer on the table for Shittu...looks like he could be on his way, is this a bad move going for the powerhouse CB???

Cousin must go, Hamadi ????? gow sorry for the boy but must go, i do not feel our team is going forward the whole coaching staff are s#%ting themselves because BF is injured, I like big Lee, but I must say I think Miller and Boyd could be quite the pair with lafferty in the middle big laff knocking down balls to miller who works very hard and boyd to slot it home, davis in the midfield with thompson and the speed of beasly I think it could work, well there is a good start anyway....lol

RANGERS need to be an attacking team, hamadi is great playing ahead of the back 4, we have 2 very good GKeepers, we must get rid of some forwards in order to buy another strong defender, as far as i see we have 2 strong hardmen at the back we need 1 more, weir is 38 but oh what a year he had, we have speed, we have boys who will play for the shirt, davis we need please sign him, speed, grit and hard work with a team with players over 30 and the younger lads to learn from them, i was watching young Paul Caddis for Celtic in the CL, the young lad did quite well, to wee to play at the back, but i do know his whole family...lol but he did well, but Rangers need to find the right balance or they will not make any euro spots this year they will be luckly to get out of the first, they need better balance they where 10 men behind the ball all of last season, dont get me wrong they had a great season, but the balance is not quite there yet.

Heres an Idea.

We could go and kidnap a jakey from the barra's.

We than swap him with Paddy McCourt (While nobodys looking) and just like magic, we have the new George Best. Nobody even noticed.

Now thats magic folks

Davis not the answer, did a good job for us last year, but would hope we can find better than him. The bit that worries me most is WS confessing we can't afford the $4M so where you get quality for less than that I have no idea

So Mr Smith says they can not buy Davis, because they do not have any money, cant afford 4 million, I wonder if they can afford no Champions League this year,

Steve Davis want's to play for Rangers, he is 23 or 24 a 5 year deal he would be there at Rangers for his prime and maybe more, we have 2 weeks to be ready for the CL 2 weeks that is it, Rangers need to move a wee bit more faster and get a few things sorted out, tell me if i am wrong but have we tried to get rid of some surplus we have? we have long term injuries at the moment that may last up to a year, burkey, naismith, fergie, smith, maybe i am being to hard on my team, but we need to dump 3 or 4 players a new midfield player and defender would do wonders for this team, but how long can we wait.

I agree with Brianm2, a team the size of Rangers cant afford 4 million, I wonder what you can buy for 3 million or 2 mill, NOTHING .
We have been lucky we have gotten some good players over the past year and a half for a good deal, why did he buy Lafferty (for the long term of the team right) so we will keep getting misfits for the year and with any luck they might want to play for the shrit and WS,

£30m aye?
You're off your nut. Man Utd made £30m off winning the CL. Getting to the UEFA Cup Final nets you around £15m tops. You get £500k for finishing 2nd in the league. You need to ditch that Daily Record calculator mate.

I agree Jimmyvinegar, Rangers made 10 million off the sale of Hutton sorry 9 million that bumped them up to 30 million well you are right or so they say, but UEFA says you get 10 million for group games, but now you have made me wonder how they say 30 million, i will have to do a wee bit of homework...lol
