Liverpool245 (U8155423) posted Jul 11, 2008 I heard Khan talking before the Gomez fight that Oliver Harrison did not show him some basic defence, things I should of learnt in my first 5 fights'. I read this comment made by Khan on Setanta news web site after Khan thought Oliver was giving Gomez some inside tips about Khan to Gomez.

Lets not forget how young the lad is he needs a couple of years before he fights the top guys.

355gts (U4324385) posted Jul 28, 2008 Stop slagging off Khan. Everyone knows he has serious flaws, but his over confidence is typical of a boxer. When have you not heard a boxer tell you how good he is and how he wants a title shot. It's no surprise, and Khan has got class in the ring. Of course he's got flaws, and his lack of development over the last 3 years tends to suggest a bad trainer, but at the end of the day, he's still a decent prospect (at 21). In a couple more years he could develop his defence and really have a good tilt at the title. He's arrogant, but what boxer isn't, and of course the British media is interested in Khan, because he's british. Most Brits don't even know who Cotto is,let alone that he lost on Saturday.

zmzeezee (U12443518) posted Jul 28, 2008 frank warren needs to help khan by letting him fight john murray before even thinking about going to the states. if khan gets past him which i think would be a great test then he should fight jono thaxton and go to the states. but prove it first by fighting these boys
