Now that Kahn has signed up with Warren again and is on the same bill as Alex Arthur does this mean he will be moving to Setanta also?

I heard Khan talking before the Gomez fight that Oliver Harrison did not show him some basic defence, things I should of learnt in my first 5 fights'. I read this comment made by Khan on Setanta news web site after Khan thought Oliver was giving Gomez some inside tips about Khan to Gomez.

This shows Oliver was not a good trainer and Khan really needs a World class one, because that will take Khan to the next and make him world class. And let me tell when this is fully ready say in about a 1 year most of you Retards on here who slate Khan will eat your words, because kid is be UNSTOPPABLE

Kahn still has a lot to learn but that all comes with experience, dont read too much into him getting dropped, when Ali was his age he got dropped by Henry Cooper who was no where near world class. Lets not forget how young the lad is he needs a couple of years before he fights the top guys.

khan needs a bit of fat back on him too he was too fat free against gomez. he needs a good trainer to work on his defence or he will get knocked out. also his finishing shots need t be more controlled. i would get him fighting john murray as that would be a very real test. then if he comes though give him thaxton then meager if he does these guys i for 1 will be convinced he is ready for the world.

Have I woken up in the Matrix? Why is a story about Amir Khan (a good prospect, but with serious flaws still) the main item on the boxing page - on the day that Cotto is fighting Margarito?
There's not even any mention of it as far as I can see!
These are two top class seriously tough fighters - that even Mayweather seemed keen to avoid - set for what may be fight of the year... and the BBC regards Khan's new trainer to be the top story? It's not worthy to wrap a portion of chips.... winkeye

......Just had a call from Frank Warren, says he wants me to fight Amir Khan in December. I told him I've only ever been to a boxing gym once and done half hour shadow boxing.......Frank thinks i'd be perfect.

Stop slagging off Khan. Everyone knows he has serious flaws, but his over confidence is typical of a boxer. When have you not heard a boxer tell you how good he is and how he wants a title shot. It's no surprise, and Khan has got class in the ring. Of course he's got flaws, and his lack of development over the last 3 years tends to suggest a bad trainer, but at the end of the day, he's still a decent prospect (at 21). In a couple more years he could develop his defence and really have a good tilt at the title. He's arrogant, but what boxer isn't, and of course the British media is interested in Khan, because he's british. Most Brits don't even know who Cotto is,let alone that he lost on Saturday.

A bit of balance wouldn't go amiss.

frank warren needs to help khan by letting him fight john murray before even thinking about going to the states. if khan gets past him which i think would be a great test then he should fight jono thaxton and go to the states. but prove it first by fighting these boys

Most sensible contribution to thread. Perhaps Khan should change his name to Tom Smith to get increase his popularity
