All I heard about Hansen's plans was he was applying for the Crusaders job, but the NZRU wouldn't let him because their rules say an All Blacks coach can't coach a Super 14 team.

Hansen told BBC Sport Wales: "It is fair to say I have ruled out a move anywhere until my New Zealand contract finishes at the end of 2009

Now that he has shown the NZRU that he has itchy feet he may be out before the end of his contract.
I would not be surprised if he did end up at the Ospreys.

I don't see him leaving the AB's before 2009, the ABs have already refused to allow him to take on a second job in NZ, and the ABs pack really did the job last Saturday, so that must have increased his value to them.

Hope they hang on to him.

Hansen failed in Wales and hopefully there are people at the top who witnessed his waste of time in Wales.

Hansen isn't an unsuccessful coach he's had plenty but not in Wales unless you believe the players who give him enormous credit.


Except for at least 3 vital players for the Ospreys, Adam Jones, Gavin Henson and Shane Williams. What would their attitude be if he became the new coach?

I;d prefer this Foster guy, he is a coach on the up is highly rated and has no baggage with any of the osprey players.
