i agree highwire,but 4 out of 5 aint bad and the way bulls are playing and if we have any players left once the bans are awarded after yesterdays performance.it could be a walk in the park for wire next week.

i've got a feeling that warrington are holding out for the end of the season when steve folkes is available when he leaves the bulldogs!

I think he should stay as head coach actually PROVIDED we get someone else in to shore up our defensive. Yesterday we had some terrible defence in the first half, so whilst Lowes seems to be doing a good job steering the ship over all - and giving Penney a deserved tongue lashing for showboating - we need a better defensive coach.

I suppose you can't change defensive issues in a few games, so we should give him more time to work that through. However, having ago at your own youngsters in the press is a little niave as he could have dealt with kev behind the scenes. A great win for Warrington and that is what we should be focus on along with preparing for Friday.

Lets see how the playoffs go before we decide anything i say. Jimmy needs a few big wins under his belt before thinking of him for next season. What hes done so far though has been great (except the catalans nightmare). To win away at Hull is no easy task, and Wakefield arent usually a walkover. Lets get Bradford beat next week and guarantee those play offs!!! Then we need to turn one of the top 3 clubs over. If that doesnt happen Jimmy will probably be the assistant again!

Jimmy was brought in to stiffen the defence in the first place! At the minute the team are playingfor each other and with each other. The win are no coincidence. Hope we can keep it going. Steve Folkes is not the man to take us forward. Tony Smith or Daniel Anderson for me. Anderson doesn't appear to have a job lined up next year and the "kings ransome" offered already to Shaun Edwards (who declined) would almost double his earnings in the UK.

The guy deserves his chance and should be given until the end of the season. As for turning over one of the top three you will need to defend a lot better than you have been doing for that to happen. I do think you have a really good squad there now but you definitely need to learn to play at full intensity for the full 80 mins.

The greatest change since PC departed seems to be the enjoyment factor on the field, demonstarted yesterday. If JL is responsible for that, then well done.
A note of caution though. Wakefield played Catalans last Tuesday, and visibly tired in the second half.
Defensively, there were some good stints, but the usual missed tackles, by the usual suspects.
Had all our passes gone to hand at vital moments, we would have scored 80.
And can we learn not to offload speculatively in our own half, especially on the first or second tackle.
Thoroughly enjoyed the rugby yesterday, and was exhausted at the end. Some of the moves were scintilating, and heres to better to come.

Gotta admit, Wires still do some stupid stuff! Half of it a kid wouldnt do, ie offloading in own 10 metres, throwing the ball around un necisarily (sorry bout the spelling there), stupid knock ons etc.

Need to tidy this area of the game up and we will be fine!

This Friday will be the BIG test for us, and i reckon will make or break our season. We win, we will be on a roll big time, we lose, we will be lucky to get 6th with the run of games we have. (Saints Leeds bratfut).
