I honeslty cannot see how any one can support this team, All thy do is buy new players year in year out, There are no academy and English national players there, All these players have been bought, the stadium is less than impressive and a new manager every season what is going on! Its all just money money money no entertainment.

I think Malouda & SWP should move on, which will mean we'll need a new winger. Someone like Quaresma would be awesome, but I do get the feeling that Chelsea would be turning into the portugese national team, so maybe someone like David Bentley.

Tannakaobi, i accept what you are saying, and i accept Roman has put all his money where his mouth is and invested large sums ..... all very well and good but what i am saying is his meddling is increasing e.g Jose going! And he wants Sheva in the starting line up (i mean SHEVA???!!)

I just fear for the future sometimes, will he soon be picking the team? If he doesn't/hasn't already!!

Roman Deserves trophies, simple as, he puts money in to Football as a hole not to mention English clubs, we have paid some very over priced ammounts for players just because who RA is, all of that money helping other clubs not so fortunate as ourselfs build better facilities and but better players to help build there own clubs!

You have taken what I said compleatly out of context.

I'm not suggesting that he deserves success BECAUSE he puts money in,
the simple fact is he has provided Chelsea with a great team, a successfull team, and he deserves the success he gets, Chelsea were good before he came, due to Good managers attrackting good players such as Vially, Zola ect.. something that is very hard to do now because of the Lure od CL football. (Barry/Liverpool)
RA has taken a good team on the verge of finachial breakdown and made them exceptional, and NO ONE!!! has lost out, other teams have made a lot of money from us, and the title is a one horse race no longer, in fact the quality of the prem, is a lot better now and it's starting to attract some of the BEST players in the world, such as Ronaldiniho, who would not have come 5 years ago!

One of the first things RA did was biuld a youth accadamy, no the fruit hasn't come yet but it's only been five years and it won't be long now.

we buy to many players do we? er.. unlike Man United, Newcastle, Man City.... er!!!

as for Managers in and out! what compered to Newcastle or Leicester City????
Jose was a breakdown in a relationship, Grant was just pathetic! He did well but had no style, was never going to be a replacement for Jose! It is a shame the way RA treated him, but it was Grants fault that Jose and RA fell out in the first place!

As for a stadium! Well what are we suppost to do? Build a new one? In London? get real RA may be made of money but he isn't stupid! Chelsea simply do not have the fan base to fill a bigger one therefore no point! And if you look at Arsenal, the very reason they can't afford to pay there players the wages that other teams can is because of that Stadium!

Obviousy we're not an academy we're a football club you plum. No English internationals? So Terry, Lampard, A.Cole, Bridge, J.Cole and SWP don't count? Were you born on the moon?

Terry is home grown, TBH, Sidwell and Pizarro were all free agents. Try doing some background checks you lazy person.

Lukas Podolski and Bastian Schweinsteiger should be targets,they're relitively young and are only gonna get even better than they are now.

if lampard goes you'd have schweinsteiger who plays well with ballack for germany. and podolski is a proven goalscorer what more do you need

Theoretically Abramovich can spend one billion and buy Kaka, Van der Saar, Ronaldo, Villa, Torres, Ronaldiniyo, Messi, Sneider, Arshavin and everybody else. It will be a national team of the world, or whatever name you can find for it. UN team? I know who will be able to beat it: a team from another galaxy whose players have five legs and four eyes each, and whose coach has two brains. After the game, Chelsey will buy them, too. All of them, including two-brained coach. Modern transfer policies are absurd.
