How much for the boat?

Premier League Middlesbrough

How much should we expect for the boat? Looking in the papers it seems if he goes to Hull, then about a mill. If he goes to celtic, about half that, which is way too low. I would have thought that given his good service, we'd let him go for just over a mill at the least.

Celtic fan in peace ok
Lots of rumour up here about Boateng-

Reading the posts on your board get the impression the Boateng has been a good player for you, and is popular among Boro fans, however he is now on the slide, i really dont want him at Celtic -another 32 year old from the EPL comin up north for a final pay-day, no ta, remember we were duped into payin 2Mill for a guy that looked like Gravesen. Not to mention the wee brazilian you sent us that could nt bothered.

No offence but send him to Hull.

I think because he has been such a good servant to the Club, they are not bothered so much about the fee, even if its 0.5M + saving on his wages, will give us enough to pay a couple of M towards someone else, might make difference in upping offer for Harper.

wouldnt you be upset with him finishing his career with your local rivals?

will you cheer him in the Derby?

I wouldnt have been happy if Nobby went to Sunderland.

Hey Toontastic you'll have another Derby to look forward to soon.....Carlisle. Looks like it might be as early as next season if they get promoted.

as a bolton fan i really dislike you boro boys carling cup and all but i will admit boateng is a class act and been brilliant for you guys without him you would not have been half as good as you have been over the years and even now if we paid 1.5 million for him i would be quite happy to see him arrive so good luck to him and i hope he stays in the prem would be nice to still see him at the reebok this term

The difference between a million and half a million is non-existent to a Premiership club. We should let him go at whatever fee is convenient to Hull, because we'll improve our finances simply by removing him from the wage bill. I imagine he's getting a fair bit as he was a McClaren signing.

i think that boateng is worth at leats 2mil after all he has done for middlesborough he helped them win the carling cup and become uefa cup finalists and was a good leader and he has alot of premier league experince and that is vital for a team like hull
