Carlos adios OT?

Championship Manchester United
comment on the article

Is it true that Queiroz is going to manage Portugal? If he goes, that will be a huge loss for us. Not only is he a great Coach, but he is also an excellent communicator. Any ideas who would or could fill his boots?

Liverpool fan in peace!!!

Queiroz seems to have played a massive influence in the way Utd have been playing in the past few yrs. You can see that in the way Utd play, the very continental 3 rotating attacking forwards. He is also probably responsible for making the likes of Nani, Anderson and Ronaldo aware to SAF.

He may be a bigger loss than losing Ronaldo (if you do), although you can guarantee it would only be a temporary loss. From the outside it looks as though he took training and picked tactics then SAF would give the team talk. Perhaps he got fed up of waiting for his chance and wanted more of the limelight, fed up of playing second fiddle??? Only he would know.

Utd will probably go back to a 4-4-2 this season if he does go.

Who would turn down Manchester United? How long have you got? Michael Owen, Rush, Barnes and Torres come to mind straightaway. There are dozens more who just couldn't stomach joining the greatest, the biggest, the best, the most arrogant club in the world.
==================================================
Where's your proof? That's just silly, i could say Cantona, Rooney, Best and Keane all turned down liverpool. There's never been much evidence that we've even been in for those players. We never had a bid accepted for Torres, which is why he never came. What's your source anyway, the Sun? doh Muppet.

Back on topic, i think Pako Ayerstyeran is a good opition, continental, excellent contacts, and good with tactics and coaching. All sane liverpool fans i have asked about this guy said he was brilliant.

He's here. He's there.
He's next to Fergie's chair.
Brian McClair, Brian McClair.

I'll be glad to see him leave, only on the basis that it'll hopefully mean he won't be boss when SAF retires. As much as I respect Quieroz as a coach I'd be gutted if he became Utd manager.

Bryan McClair's a good shout. I think most United fans would be happy with that. realistically we won't get a big name like Rijkaard to be a no 2 but McClair may be tempted and I think he'd do a good job.

How stupid can people employed by Manchester United can be for continuing to make such comments?
This Queiroz guy is a disgrace to football, the hypocrite? OUT OF HIS HANDS HE SAYS? SInce when is the future of any men out of his hands? Either he wants to leave or he doesn't, but than there is this thing called money, so either he gets a raise from ManU and stays going on to tell the idiot fans how much he loves the club and the players, or Portugal pays him more in which case he will say an agreement was reached, and unfortunately it was out of my hands to say no. MR. QUIEROZ you sir are an idiot, and more so are the fans that follow you and your drama team around.
And BBC seems to have become like a tabloid for reading too much into such pathetic men's lives.

Shut up!!!

It is out of his hands because he has a contract with Man Utd and they can say NO to the move if they want.

Re: Gunning for the top (formerly Walcott for England

>>If you believe a man such as Keane with his mentality would even think about going back to work under Ferguson, then you really are naive.

Ah I see it’s another WUM argument from Gunning for the top (formerly Walcott for England). Anybody who has a different opinion to him must automatically be ‘naïve’ because as an Arsenal fan he obviously knows everything about Man Utd. doh

>>Does no-one remember how he was treated by Ferguson or would you claim that it was just a minor falling out and that you would even forgive and forget if it was to happen to you by your boss?

I’ll tell you what I do remember. I remember Keane having 13 great years at Old Trafford and winning a shed load of trophies. I remember him saying it was a great club to be at and SAF was a great manager to play for. And I also remember Keane and Ferguson shaking hands, sharing a laugh and a joke on the pitch at Old Trafford during Keane’s testimonial match Man Utd vs Celtic in May 2006. I have absolutely no idea what it is you’re on about. As usual, it seems you’re being a WUM trying to make out animosity exists between SAF and Keane where there is none. Keane and Arsene Wenger on the other hand… I bet they don’t exchange Christmas cards… laugh
