Ricky_Rabbit (U11966719) posted Jul 6, 2008 What a patronising post. A lot of people would have said that Dele Adebola was a pile of crap but he still knocked a few in for you last season. Who said Cole would score lots of goals and who is to say we will not sign more strikers?

Pimander (U10768739) posted Jul 7, 2008 I keep hearing people complaining about AC's age! He is the second highest goal scorer in Premier League history, one of Man U's highest European goal scorers of all time and holds the Joint record (with Shearer) for most goals in a Prem season. The guy has great awareness, movement and is a world class finisher. If he gets fully fit, this is a SUPERB signing. Along with Earnshaw we (Forest) now have two players (or maybe 3 if Tyson stays fit) capable of top scoring in the CCC.

jasonodell (U3721686) posted Jul 7, 2008 its a long term signing i'm sure, ok, so he's old, past it, whatever you want to say, he'll still play off the bench, start for 60/70 minutes, but think of the longer picture, coaching role after the season, what an inspriation to the kids that would be to have star they used to watch and admire, I think CC's invested in the future on this one...

Thanks A lot BBC7 (U2212240) posted Jul 8, 2008 I really wish Andrew well, he deserves another good season with plenty of goals and a few good assists of balls he would have turned into goals a few years back. I hope he still has it in him. He did not for us.
