BREAKING NEWS "ACCORDING TO MARCA"

Premier League Manchester United
by anaconda6901 (U4319263) 04 July 2008
comment on the article

The Glazers have apparently agreed a fee of £67.7m (85m Euros) for the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo.

This is utter tripe in my opinion because Marca have then gone on to contradict themselves by saying that Ramon Calderon has told Cristiano Ronaldo to hand in a transfer request. I don't buy this for a second.
However SSN are reporting it as "Fact"

Zzzzzzzz... Um. Oh. What? My god, is this conversation still going on? I'm a MUFC fan and think we should just let him go. Off into the sunset with bucket and spade in hand. Real are obviously wringing their hands at the prospect of having another money-making cash-cow delivered to them by (once again) the humble city of Manchester. Beckham brought in the attention and revenue, and no doubt Ronaldo will do the same. But even if Real do succeed in signing CR, it won't stop MUFC being the better club. Why? Well for lots of reasons but mainly because we scout, develop and work hard to produce top class players. Real? They just have a bottomless pot of cash to buy their success.

Many of you are going to disagree with me on what i have to say, And yes i support Manchester U.
The only way man u can move forward is to get rid of Ronaldo, Yes he's good and scores many, With the money we can buy many younger players who will benefit the team more.
Ronaldo is making Man u look like a 1 man team, It makes many players like Rooney get considered out of form.
Ronaldo only cares about money, You may hate what im saying but its true.

LET HIM GO AND WE SHALL PROGRESS

I agree with BionicPeaches. I'm so bored of hearing about this. If even half of what we hear from the media is true then Ronaldo obviously WANTS to go! Why force him to stay somewhere ihe doesn't want to be. Rake in the 70mil for him, he'll soon realise the mistake he's made in terms of silverware pretty soon.

Use the money to buy 2 or 3 quality players, Huntelaar can provide goals (plus we need to stop Arsenal getting their greasy mits on him!), Schweinsteiger can provide service, pace and goals. We'll still have money left for another shopping spree in January! Plus it gives Nani and Anderson a chance to shine through.

We'll still be good enough to win all three trophies this season.

Who knows? Even though 21st Century Real Madrid are definitely second best to 21st Century Man U,

_________________________________________________
What is this statement based on ?

They have the same number of domestic titles Real Madrid won the European Cup in the 20001/02 season, convincenly (not on penalties). So in Europe they are equal but Real Madrid won the World Club Championship in 2002, the last time Man U qualified for that they go no where despite pulling out of the FA cup to compete. As Man U qualify this year as European Cup winner they need to be crowned World Club champions to equal Ream Madrid's record for this century. Historically Man U are way behind.

The sooner this saga ends the better. Goodbye Ronaldo, you SHALL NOT be missed. MUFC Will win trophies no matter who plays for them! one man does not make a team. Last season all he did was add the finishing touch with the goal, the play and passing i honestly didnt see him get to be a part of. man Uniteds all about creative football, and he certainly aint creative! he's a showoff and a big headed idiot who needs a wake up call - bye bye Ronnie, we hope to never see your face again

People keep saying "why does Ronaldo want to leave" the question should be "why would he want to stay". With all due respect to Manchester United, the worlds largest football club, christiano has done everything with manchester, so why would he stay! hes already stated that its been a lifelong dream to play for real, and due to HIS increased disrepect to English football, in regards to his actions in the euros(wayne rooney saga) and his diving, i dont see why people would want him to stay!
if he wanted to stay he would have already said so. u dont see rio saying im going! United fans say they hate him now, come game one when he scores, it'll be straight back to cheering! GUARANTEED!

If he wants to step down to a lower league ...let him - providing Utd take Unreal Madrid to the cleaners, money-wise.

People keep in complainin of his lack of intelegence, lets all get one point straight CR wants out, and he will used and back any comments that come his way, and I am just wondering how many more proves you rock scientists need from him. its obvious that this is taking long and both images are being damage, just accept the 75 million and let the boy go, u can not just decide not to sell him, football is business and everyone has is price
