Renault always have an excellent 1st session and a weak 2nd session, its because they run different tyres and heavier fuel loads in the 2nd run to evaluate what is best for the race.

Coulthard only did 6 laps, a fair chunk less than everyone else. F1 website says "some problems with his Red Bull" which is really helpful...

He had a 'technical problem' salti, not very helpful detail but explains why he sat out most of practice, hopefully sorted now having been out and run but time lost, in his last British GP, (f1 at least).

there was a comment on sams page about the red bull being in pieces in the garage, so looks like they had a major rebuilding job?

right deffo got to shoot, catch you all laters and i will be ohming away in tescoes, would love to do a bit of yogi flying in the custard creams aisle but sure they have signs up saying that shoplifters and yogi flyers will be prosecuted.. but hey I dont think they could lay that on me if I had a wee one in the car park?

Oh bug.ger, must concentrate thanks left toe, yes he's right, DC got out of the car 8 mins before the end ie he hasn't been out and run at all thereafter at all, falling times thus ensuring his lowly result, apologies (again)

Oh well, would have been nice to have a 'live' thread that was actually devoted to today's session, Gordon did a fine job yesterday, not exactly equalled by the 'official' idea of one today.
