Rafael Nadal's improvement in the last couple of years has been phenomenal. His physical and mental strength are outstanding, together with his will to win and be succesful on every surface.
He's just turned 22 years old and already boasts 4 grand slam titles and has a good record at other grand slams too.

At the same age Roger Federer had just one grand slam titile under his belt and yet he is considered by many, including me, as one of the greatest tennis players in the history of the sport.

So is Rafa Nadal going to join him in a few years time. What are your views???!!!

Murray never said he would win the title.
Get your facts right before you open your gob.

Look how can Rafa be invincible on clay and grass,
the semi has not been played yet.
Okay Rafa may well reach the final,
but trhen against Rog invincible, the evidence is against you.
noone is invincible,
players dont have your arrogance.
we all expect
a greatfinal between Fed and Rafa,
Fed is still number 1 if he loses for a while yet, some weeks at least,
how long will Rafa be number 1.
look at his knees, not long for sure.
his shoulder must be burned up too,
he has 2 years in top 2 at most.
how long has Fed m a longtime .

"Murray never said he would win the title."

Actually he did.

"look at his knees, not long for sure.
his shoulder must be burned up too,

His knees have always been like that, and im sure his shoulder isn't a problem to him. Two years in the top two is one hell of an achievment.

"Is Rafa Nadal on his way to greatness??"

On his way? No, he's already there. I can't imagine why people still don't consider him to be great. We have two great players in our game, no need to name the other.

Oh my god this final is gonna be bleepin epic. I must confess, having not seen much of Federer play (as I had wanted to see more competitive matches!) this year I believe Nadal has what it takes on Sunday. He looked so awesome against Murray that it's going to be blow for blow and quite possibly if both players are on top form, the best final ever; with so much at stake for Federer though I think Nadal can suprise him and just edge it in 5 sets.

Nadal is a great player, and looks set to go beyond threshold this time. Worrying times for Fed, but I expect him to win this Sunday. <double>

At 22 Nadal has 4 grad slams. So, as he is not going to give up any roland garros and wimbledon to anyone for the next 8 years at least, he will be pocketing 20 grand slams in his career. And, he will be the Greatest of Greatest of all era. Greater than Rod Laver, Bjon Borg, Pete Sampras, John Mcenroe !!!! He will play like horse forever (at least for 15 more years). Any comment !! And Federer will retire by the end of this year or next year according to Bjon Borg, because he has lost everything. Djokovic will be number 2 and Rafael be number 1 for the next 5 years. Every other player will keep on watching them keeping their hands folded.

Nadal is made of Steel, Djokovic is of Iron, and Roger is of Wood. I don't know which one is elastic and long lasting.

YOur comments are the funniest I have heard in a long time. YOU must certainly:

A. Not know anything about tennis
or
B. purposely trying to wind people up.

20 grandslams, 15 years (nadal) and then rog to retire at the end of this year or the next.hahahahah

are you for real?

After watching yesterday's final between the top two players in the world, I must admit Nadal certainly has joined the some of the all time greats.
He's the first man since Bjorn borg to win the French Open and Wimbledon during the same summer. Remarkable achievement. Credit to both players for providing such entertainment throughout the entire match.
It was just nerve racking for the spectators, but the players seem to be rather calm and collected even at crucial stages of the match; speaks volumes of the mental strength!!!
