What happened to Ronaldinho?

Premier League Manchester City

I kept hearing from City fans that you were on the verge of signing Ronaldinho, weeks ago. What's happened since? There's no news on SKY or the beeb regarding this story. Has Ronaldinho used Man City to flush out interest from bigger, better clubs that he's more interested in joining?

oh my good god. Scholes had blurred vision for over a season and is he finished off? Ronaldinho was injured and will be back. Barcelona's new coach is just stamping his authority at the club, like refs do at the start of matches when it's a high profile job they've got on their hands!

I'd much appreciate if Ronaldinho played for my team - S. C. Corinthians Paulista from São Paulo - Brazil.
Ronaldinho is worth a trial in Man City.

I don't want him and he obviously doesn't want to come to Eastlands.

As someone who used to live in Porto Alegre and saw Ronaldinho when he began his career at Gremio I have always been a huge fan of him as a player on and off the field.

Sadly last season things were going wrong at Barca and for various reasons his stock fell badly. But he is still a fantastic footballer.

I would like to see him at City next season, as opposed to Chelsea, as I want to see the talent spread around the EPL a bit more. If he can recapture his form he would be sensational.

The big worry is IF he signs for City with respect is it because he is starting to wind down his career becsuase of the lack of options and just for the money...a la Beckham perhaps?

He's a good player, but I look around the world now and see many better than, and just as good as him, although he is still a class act.

He would be a good signing for City, and would be a step in the right direction, however, at 28, I personally wouldn't be wanting to pay too much.

Whatever happens, he will find his form, and according to yesterdays gossip column he is destined for AC Milan. That wouldn't suprise me with Kaka already at the club, and helping him settle in. Also, Milan have had many top class Brazilians over the years, such as Rivaldo, Cafu, Ronaldo(who they now have), Kaka, Roque Junior, Dida, and the list goes on.

Good luck Ronaldinho wherever you end up, you have given world football much to remember you by with some world-class goals and skill. Lets hope you can create more memories in the future.

28 isnt that old to be fair. Look at Petrov, had a great season last year and he is 30. Berbatov even more so and he is 28 like Ronaldinho.

Back into reality, would he prefer A.C Milan or Manchester City. At A.C, he would love and get paid loads, but I think he will never adjust to life in England even if he tried. What they need is a young wonderkid who has the potentianl to be brilliant.

There is no chance of Ronaldinho joining Man City, it looks like he will be joining AC anyway but if he was moving to England it would be to London and not Manchester.
