loverofsports (U1690717) posted Jul 7, 2008 however many they do its a long time to be standing until the end. i bought myself a cheap little two step stepladder from a hardware store and took it along (threw it away when i left). found myself a great place in front of a tree and when they came along stepped on up and could see all the action over everyone's heads. also had a great spot for the podium as well as the big screen so you could watch them along the route. get there early if you want a decent spot - i was there from 8am. a very long day and my back was broken by the end of it but it was so worth it. got to see LA win his 6th.
