Should Keane quit Spurs for Liverpool?

Premier League
comment on the article

Liverpool are interested in taking Robbie Keane from Spurs - but we can expect the White Hart Lane club to fight off interest from Rafa Benitez.

Would Keane be wise to leave Spurs? Is he the right man for Liverpool?

If Liverpool sign Keane and Gareth Barry, can their title claims be taken more seriously?

Let us know your thought.

Keane has always been unsettled at his previous clubs: Inter, Coventry, Wolves, leeds (each club never offered keane what he needed whether it was regular football, or the club sold because of financial reasons)

At Spurs keane has become one of the favourites of the fans. keane plays regulary, enjoys his fottball, is paid 50,000 a week, and vice captain at spurs. The club isn't like middlesborough a nothing club, achieving nothing going nowhere, Spurs are constantly improving, winning there first trophy in nearly a decade. The emotion keane displayed after that final tells you that he's gonna leave, and liverpool are way to tight to pay his deserved 20mil value.

There's more to football than the CL, like playing for a top 4 club... but robbie won a trophy and plays for a team that finished 11th... what is the point in playin for a "big 4" that doesnt win anything? Only Man Utd won trophies last season from the top 4 teams. Now lets list the other 3 teams' trophies

2nd. Chelsea - nothing
3rd. Arsenal - nothing
Liverpool - nothing, nada, niente!!

i rest my case.

He top class...I'd be delighted to see him at Anfield, not just as a Liverpool fan but as an Ireland fan...I'd love to see our Ireland captain in the big games and hopefully playing games that led Rafa to the Title...Ill keep my fingers crossed for that!

Hes a proven premiership player and one of very few that gurantees goals every season and hes at a club that doesn’t want to sell him and doesn’t need the money. So 20 million is he price you’ll have to pay.

Rafa seems to think he can get proven premiership players from established clubs for 10 million, hes having a laugh – you can buy players from abroad for this price and hope they adapt but if you want someone who you know 100% can perform in this league its reflected in the price. United had to pay 18 mill for carrick Liverpool will have to pay similar rates for barry/keane

I would have thought that Keane would have heard the alarm bells when Rafa stated that he wanted a replacement for Peter Crouch.

Before Keane makes a decision to move to Liverpool he would be best advised to ask Crouch: how comfortable is the Liverpool subs bench?
