I think it's a TOTAL JOKE that we have to go into the second qualifying round!

We were in the champions lge group stages then got to the UEFA cup final.

Liverpool were 4th in their league and they go straight into the third round. I appreciate their recent record in the tournament has been excellent but say villa or spurs, they'd be straight into third round.

UEFA need to address this, we should at least be straight into third round.

Anyways, we should cut through Kaunas fairly easily....

Funny thing this. After we lost our UEFA cup final back in 2003 we had to go into the 2nd qualifying round, and funnily enough we were drawn against Kanaus. Beat them 4-0 away before a reserve reserve side beat them 1-0 at CP.

I personally hope you destroy them, which is saying a lot as i hate Rangers.

Mostly because of when Mad Vlad said that Kanaus were a match for the OF on the pitch, i hope you go out and hit them for double figures. (tip, keep Miller on the bench)

Should be an easy enough task to get by this lot. Might as well get on with the congestion of games and get used to it if we are gonna have another busy season.

Should be like playing the Hearts reserves team. I wonder if Romanov will let any of the hearts players register for kaunas to get some european experience :P

It seems to be a popular thread but it is correct to ask why UEFA did not remove Rangers from European football for the horrific scenes displayed on Manchester back in May. If it had been an English club then there would have been immediate reprisals. Polish clubs have suffered for the actions of their supporters recently and only last season Rotterdam were withdrawn at a later stage if I remember rightly for violence. Lets have consistency from UEFA so we all know what to expect if supporters misbehave.

Last Year We Were "Certain" To Play Kaunas, But the Legends That Are FC Zeta Prevented It. Either Way Whether It's Andorran Minnows Or The Hearts Reserve Team: We Should Be Safe.
