Wimbledon day eight

comment on the article

It's ladies' quarter-finals day and we have two Americans, two Russians, a Chinese, a Thai, a Czech and a Pole in action.

First up on Centre Court at 1300 BST is Dementieva against fellow Russian Petrova, while over on Court One will be Venus and Tanasugarn.

They are followed by Serena and Radwanska on Centre, and Zheng and Vaidisova on One. So come on then, who's going to win?

Chiggi_007 yes Murray will make it very hard for Nadal then for Fed.
Murray is the best and the strongest. After he played 5 long sets now he will face Nadal and win it also with 5 long sets. He has what it takes. He is our UK man. Did you see him flexing his bicepts after he won the match. That was so humble and classy.

He will win SW19 and then he will win it 10 more times. ON the way he will also win 7 French Open, 8 US Open and 5 Australian. Yeap, Murray is the Great Salvation for British sport.

So Nadal and Fed better be afraid since so far Murray has done soooo much for tennis. He is always making it to all the finals and winning it all. Yeap, he is the UK Man.

WOMEN MAKING THE SAME AS MAN IN SW19?? RUBBISH!!

It seems that each match only last 30-55 minutes and the play is laughable.

Does anybody else in the real world gest pay the same for less work and much less intensity?

Re 1747, does this mean the end of the BBC Sport TV Mole? Say it ain't so Moley! Wimbledon wouldn't be the same... although that said I'm missing those Boris updates... maybe someone could give the Mole some incentive to stay a Mole? Worms perhaps?

Icelandic I totally agree. But do you think that if there was a women football league they would get pay the same as men?

In basketball they get pay less. YOu rather watch mens play basketball or women?
golf they sure dont get pay the same, yet it should for is more equal.

But tennis, like basketb all or football is a different breed and I dont see it as exciting as the men or demanding.
