I would like to see Spurs try and develop Hudd as either the protector of Modric or the back four.

I thought he did well in the back four at times so he can play with a defensive mindset it is all about discipline.

I think anyone on here saying he is an average player really needs to check their football prejudices at the door and accept he is a fine passer of the ball, gets himself into good positions and plays a generally disciplined game. The right coach and fitness regime makes locking him up a potentially smart move.

liverpool fan here. huddlestone is quality, him and modric will be quite a midfield. huddlestone holds, modric attacks, good balance

that said we will still beat u, but you will offer more of a challenge! :P

that is great news about huddlestone as he is an exciting prospect, i was thinking ramos didnt rate him but that doesnt look to be the case now.

The potential to be world class. His passing is as accurate as you're likely to see, he reads the game well and can defend.

For the future, a very exciting England prospect.

This is good news for us I reckon. I think given time he could be a very good player. He's a good passer and he provides some muscle to what is otherwise a physically weak midfield.

All he needs to do is keep the weight off and add some consistency to his game and he could become an excellent signing in the long run

Huddlestone is good but miles off the finished article. I watched him at wigan away this year and he gave the balls away far too many times.

As a spurs fan it is ok to criticise people... bottom line is we won less games than sunderland did. With all the attacking options spurs had.

So something somewhere aint working !
