Wimbledon day seven

comment on the article

Here we go then - Big Monday.

It's arguably the best day of the Championships as we have eight top class men's and women's singles matches on show.

On Centre, Roger Federer will try and maintain his hold over Lleyton Hewitt, and Andy Murray will attempt to reach his first Grand Slam quarter-final by beating Richard Gasquet.

The focus for the women today will, unusually, be out on Court Two where Venus takes on Alisa Kleybanova before Serena plays Bethanie Mattek.

There's plenty of other action too, let me know what's going to happen....

Insightful comment there....
erm
They have to stop this match shortly. It's really dark now.

The Gasquet service hold and that missed smash on the first point of the next game... I think that's going to break Murray, especially with this now certain to go into tomorrow. I fancy Gasquet to win this now... this match is messing with my mind.

MURRAY WINS! What a comeback, now he'll probably lose to Nadal but that's okay.

Gasquet completely lost it in the 3rd set, Murray picked up after that tie breaker. Some brilliant tennis, with Murray deserving to win.

I'm Scottish so obviously don't have the same problem with Andy Murray as some posters do. However, there's no way the world number 12 should be on Centre Court every match when the world number 2 has, as far as I know, only been on it once. Not that Rafa needs that kind of help of course...
