What a pereformance by O'brian- one horse effectivelly takes out the favourite and his other storms through to win! And what will get done about it? You guessed it. Who said cheats never prosper?

Derby form smashed out of the window. What for the snail-paced New Approach's Derby form. Where are all of you who were shouting wonder horse, wonder horse. Don't forgetjust like Authorised I told you first on here. Wonder horse, cannot believe so many of you watch racing on teletext.

CaptainExcalibur, you are spot on. Anyone who knows anything about horses, knows that a stone bruise can heal quicker than you think. Ok, no horse can run on three feet; however, Bolger did warn us and if you put any money on New Approach after the warning, your a bloody fool.

If there was ever a fix in racing this was it. I would ban the Jockey and trainer for 100 days as this so obvious what was going on.

derby form is not smashed out the window, its not a surprise to me that frozen fire won, i backed him in the derby, possibly didn't handle epsom but was beaten a neck in the dante by tartan bearer and had reversed that form. wouldn't be surprised to see him go on from here.

If Tartan Bear had been good enough he still had plenty of time to win the race even with interference the winner was also pushed out (see head on). Also Bolger warned about the horse and it looks like it may be more serious. King George will probably tell us how really good the winner is but I suspect if you discount Epsom he will turn out to be a proper G1 horse. These are animals racing remember they get injured, they veer off line....

It was dissapointing to see New Approach withdrawn.Frozen Fire was beaten 12 lengths at Epsom but on his previous run in the Dante he was just touched off by Tartan Bearer,not the first time English/Irish derby form reversed remember St Jovite?
