Youzhny over Nadal, Rafa seems to be in pain, in just the very 2nd point.
This isint pre mature speculation or Rafa bashing, but just to inform some funny poster who said Rafa will win Youzhny in st.sets.
A Remainder to those guys, faster the court better is Youzhny’s chances and vice versa , slower the court better is Rafa’s chances. Youzhny plays Nadal better than anybody else in the modern era, I would go one step ahead and say he handles Nadal better than Roger does.

Ok lets go Head to Head

It 6-4 over all to Nadal, shows how close they are matched up, and its further close on hard courts 4-3 to Youzhny, with the latest win for Youzhny coming on Chennai ATP 2008 where he thrashed Nadal 6-0 6-1.
OK lets come to Grass court, as you all know grass court season is the shortest of all and hence they haven’t met many occasions, the only occasion was last year Wimbledon when Rafa came back from 2 set down to win a marathon 5 setter when Youzhny was suffering with hamstring in the later stage of the match.
I will put you the score as follows.
4-6 3-6 6-1 6-2 6-2 To Nadal.

Yes Nadal’s form to Wimbledon is very impressive and Youzhny’ form on the downward side, but having seen the last match he played against Stephanek in 3rd round, I can he is match fit and if there is int any injury he will give Rafa the toughest test in this Wimbledon and might even cause an upset.
I route for Youzhny in St. Sets, as i believe giving a set to Rafa means end of the match, Youzhny should do like Tsonga did..

When I said Tipsarevic will rise against Roddick , many found it funny to believe but what happened, in no case a win for Youzhy is gauranteed indeed Rafa will win it 55-45 %, but we still have that 45%.

OK to make the thread bit more interesting , lets see what is the opinion of majority with a poll

Pls answer the following questions guys

1]WHo will win?
2]Whom do u support among the two i.e fav?
3]Will it be st. sets or not?
4]Pls give the score line as well to predict the correct winner.

The poll closed.

No of people voted so far 12

% -------- Voted

Nadal to win 75 -------- 9
Youzhny to win 25 -------- 3
Rafa st. Sets 25 -------- 3
Youzhny st sets 16.6 -------- 2
Nadal as fav 75 -------- 6
Youzhny as fav 25 -------- 3

I firmly believe Youzhny will rise to the occasion. Go Micheal Youzhny Go.

But there is one more reason I would like Nadal to progress through this match considering he might lock horns with Murray and Tipsarevic in coming rounds. Damn great matches in up coming rounds, should be one of the best wimbledon I have watched so far.

Mrbigboo my apologies then. I read this which I thought you wrote and since we are talking about Nadal I thought you meant that the Russian was better.
"6-4 is their head to head, Youzhny is lot better"

Well Tipsy is not doing any good, Baggy Mr.GJ's favourite is out, its a tricky day with Ancic pulling the match from death after 2-0 down.
