Arsenal

'Morning Gooners

I've had enough with the speculation, rumours, bluff and counter bluff surrounding Hleb and Ade's future.

Pleeeease Arsene, sell them!!! Arsenal can make £40+ million in the process and thus buy decent replacements before the season starts!

We need a team of Fabregas, Clichys, Sagnas and Toures. They may be foreigners but still are devoted to the Arsenal cause.

I admire Wenger's policy to nurture young talents but in recent year it has backfired dramatically.

I may be over-reacting but Adebayor yesterday showed nothing but disrecpect to Arsenal and its fans with his media stunt.

And I thought this team had something special, no prima-donnas etc. How wrong was I!

"I may be over-reacting but Adebayor yesterday showed nothing but disrecpect to Arsenal and its fans with his media stunt." - no sir, you are not over-reacting. He is only doing it to make Arsenal pay him the same amount as Henry.

Merry : you sound like a nerd now ... stato in fact, but sadly, you do have to revert to stats sometimes to people who talk rot ...

now, come back from the stats and talk from the heart again ...

ho ho - alrighty then.

Sorry i went off on one - as I said in the post label Ade what you want, prolific he is and wasteful he is NOT.

As Jim Hacker in yes minister once said - "Statistics you can prove anything with statistics - even the truth".

Speaking from the heart - I prefer Ade to stay, I really can't believe that there are gooners that think selling your best striker is a good idea.

There seems to have been an overreaction to my 'statistical post' - some people even saying you cannot call him prolific until he has done it for 3 years.

sorry me for maybe being simple, but how can he show how prolific he is if we sell him after 1 good season?

As for all the gooners saying we should sell and get a couple of youngsters - hasn't that been our problem over the last couple of years smiley

he is not worth even £15 million, how and why would an average player like adebayor be priced like he's ronaldo. he needs the team to be on form for him to play, unlike ronaldo he needs to be in form for the team to play

Adebayor is NOT worth £24m. With that much we can buy a proven striker who can get us the Champions League and doesn't miss sitters.

I for one want adebayor to leave, he seems to demand the respect of his predessessor Henry without actually delivering the goods.

Yes he scored 30 goals but that's to the credit of the 10 players behind him as he laughs at his own latest miss that will undoubtedly cost us another 2 points and the title and slowly meandears his way back onside.

I don't look forward to watching him next season, more wasted chances, points and titles......

I don't want him to leave - he does score goals and he was our only fit forward for a long time last season so have to give him his dues. However, some of the sums being touted are silly money and we'd have to take it. In today's market he probably is worth £15-20m, so if we can get £30m+ it'd make sense. Then buy the likes of Santa Cruz for less than £20m and we're quids in.

With all this, we've forgotten about how useless Eboue is on the right wing.... Keep him as RB support and lets hope we have Hleb, Rosicky, Theo and Nasri (plus Clichy and Sagna) running up and down the wings all season. Between RVP, Ade, Eduardo, Bendtner and Vela there is some serious power going forward!!!

What really REALLY REALLY annoys me about this situation is AC Milan's attitude!!! They think they have the right to go and buy other team's best players but when other teams enquire about their best players, namely 'Kaka', they say 'NO WAY! Hes going nowhere!' Absolute disgraceful behaviour ... What makes them so good ... Serie A is awful and is degrading by the second!
