I think Robinson's career path may be the same as David James, i think he'll go on to be highly rated as he gets older.

I think Villa would be a good option for Robinson who would excel under a good man-manager like O'Niel. Spurs do need creativity in midfield, but also a central defender who will play more than 15 games a season.

Time for Robbo to leave, or face rotting on the subs bench.

He's been given more then enough chances, and its time for him to move on. His time in big spotlight is over.

It just seems to me that we are replacing a keeper with little confidence who is prone to accidents with a keeper who has confidence but is just as accident proned.

We should have just dragged cudicini away from chelsea

well i would like to say thank you and farewell to robbo.. there is now way he will be happy playing 2nd fiddle so looks like villa or boro will go in for him.

lets hope gomes will do the business, im still not 100% convinced [well no brazilian keeper has ever convinced me] but we shall wait and see.....

sad to see robbo go but all players need confidence and he has none at the lane

pantryboy- i don't get your problem. obviously someone can have talent and play badly. the most obvious would be an old ex-player- however talented pele is i wouldn't want him playing for us now. with robbo i think the issue is that he's just a b it thick and gets his positioning nd footwork wrong pretty well every time.

i dont think its the end for robinson and i even dont think he will leave spurs because of the departure of Radek Cerny there will only be Gomes for spurs in goal if robbo is sold to villa or where he wants to go, then spurs will only have 1 goalkeeper, so if Gomes gets injured or woteva then spurs wont have a proper goalkeeper to go in goal if Gomes is injured!!!!
