Officialy signed in a swap deal for Goalkeeper Gilks - Blackpool chairman confirm it on Radio Norfolk news. It's a good deal for both.

Roll on with the rest of the signings.

Bring on the investment (two fingers to ipswich)

"many of your fellow Norwich "supporters" didn't rate him."

Was one of them by any chance called "Doomcaster"?

But didn't realise our fans were like that though, cos i know most of us rated him very highly after seeing him a long time ago in the FA cup? But we can all be guilty of being sour from one time to another, so fair do's and all that winkeye

And i concur, good luck for next season, and i'm hoping desperately to see our Derby be played in the premiership one day, broadcasted on tv, and there for all to see, like it should be smiley

"Erm, and what other 'bigger' clubs were after him? Norwich aren't a small club by any means. It MUST be great news for WH, seeing as he opted to get away from the wannabe Gt Yarmouth and cement his future with us.

Enjoy this season in the CCC blackpoolforlife, you will be back to League 1 shortly."

My personal opinion is that you are not a big club, & only just avoiding relegation. It wasnt a ignorant comment I put, however it seems as though its touched a nerve as you probably are a small club!

League one maybe, but I'm glad we have a manager who can spot these talents first off. See ya in August! I'm sure we will bring our full support & i'm sure the stewards will remove the drum again, as we know you dont like an atmosphere at Carrow Road!

Certainly not a good deal for both. blue

Well done... you've just nicked our Wes.

We get a keeper who I've never even heard of (who can't get into your first team) and you get an classy international winger.

Oh, and to make it even worse, you get him for a bargain!!! Unfortunately, the things I would like to say about our idiot chairman can't be said on 606!

You underrate Gilks badly. Never got into our team because Marshall was always there to stop him. Marshall is the best keeper in this league, no question, was our best player last year by a country mile, and is a Scotland international who just joined us for £1 Miliion from Celtic.

Gilks is easily good enough for this league, and we only just beat Fulham to his signature for a free transfer. Was the best keeper in League 2 by some distance when we signed him, conjuring up a large number of clean sheets while at Rochdale. You should be happy you got him, because he is also worth way over £250,000. Best player you have now if you ask me (bar Gorkss i guess. But from what i understand he may not be at your club that much longer either)

At which post in the thread link you put up here did you see any sour grapes???

Please show us al.

I wont despute the fact that you have got a good player at a goodprice but al Town fans are saying is that if we got him he wouldnt get in the 1st team.
Who would he get in a head of -
Garvan - NO
Haynes - NO
Sumulikoski - NO
Norris - NO
Quin - Maybe

So he would be an expensive player to have sitting on the bench with good wages being payed to him.

Anyway, heres to seeing him disapear and shy away from wanting the ball in December winkeye

Good luck and god bless winkeye

sympathy for blackpool. know what it feels like to lose your better players ( kamara koumas etc) but we didnt exactly struggle, so its not all doom and gloom for you

just wanted to say though i was really impressed with the football blackpool played at the hawthorns so all the best for next season ok
