Men's Singles: Fantastic performance by Andy Murray to reach the quarter-finals. Shame he couldn't relive the drama of his Gasquet clash against Nadal, but well done to him on getting to his best ever Grand Slam finish.

Ladies' singles: No interest after day 4, but well done to Keothavong and Baltacha for making the second round. Both were knocked out by players that made the semi-fianl, incidentally, if you can harbour any hope from that. Baltacha lost to Zheng and Keothavong to Venus - a finalist. But we live in hope for Laura Robson ...

Men's Doubles: Jamie Murray/Max Mirnyi did very well to get to the third round, but crumbled in straight sets to the no.2 seeds.

Ladies Doubles: Not our strongest are, much like the singles, but well done to Keothavong/South for being our sole representatives in round 2.

Mixed Doubles: Jamie Murray & Liezel Huber did very well to get the semi-finals and be our last remaining hope for a British winner. Despite many people, including myself, backing them to win it, they lost narrowly in 3 to Bob Bryan & Sam Stosur. I have to say, if it wasn't for the Murray brothers, British tennis would be a fiasco.

"Thanks to Andy Nurray British tennis IS a fiasco"

Goodness me...that is total rubbish.

But for the Murrays we would have no tennis players of note at all!

Murray & Huber could win it...not sure how good Bryan is with his lady, but if M & H get to the final, you'll have the world no.1 ladies doubles player, defending ladies doubles champ, and defending mixed doubles champ in one team, so I make them favourites. Don't know how they only got 12 seeding though.

When you think of it GB must have a good chance of winning the Davies Cup in the next couple of years...Andy must fancy his chances of beating anyone except maybe Nadal, Fed or Djockovic, and Andy & Jamie should be a good enough doubles pairing to beat most?

Gr8 we still have some home-grown interest in the draw at Wimbledon. Thank goodness Jamie has had a hair cut too - I hope he can keep going and defend his title. COME ON..... smiley

Laura Robson is just into the semis of the girls event, though Naomi "I love my condoms" Broady has just plonked out in the quarters.

yeah but we don't have anyone to play the second rubbers (steady naomi). even if they have an awful player ours is usually worse. I'm still of the opinion the davies cup is too much effort to bother with. If we managed to find a couple of top 50 players then cool, that would cover murray pulling out (which any top player will do at the slightest injury niggle)
