Does anyone think it won't be a Federer-Nadal final
Challengers:
Djockovic- world no3 won a grand slam before looking good at the moment.
Roddick- he's always there or there about and I think he could do it
Gonzalez- An exciting player who i think could reach the final
Blake- Don't count him out on his day he can beat most.
Davydenko- Seeded fourth must have a chance.
Murray- ?????????????????????

Don't even mention Murray in that list. What are the odds that he gets injured before he reaches a formidable stage in the tournament.

It may not be Federer-Nadal, but it may be Federer-Djokovic or Nadal-Djokovic.

Whatever happens, i want Nadal to win.

Also, does anyone know if Jo-Wilfred Tsonga is playing this year? I heard that he was injured and may not play but wasn't sure.

If Roger's glandular fever (here is a catalogue of 'special effects' that it can bring about - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infectious_mononucleosis) is truly over, he'll beat the hell out of the rest of the bunch hands down (so to speak), and very good too. Hope FedExpress is gaining momentum.

Murray gets ?????????????????? yet davydenko is given some chance because of his ranking. Forget that he didnt play a preparation tournament instead choosing to play a very low key clay tournament with a bunch of low ranked players just to collect a title for titles sake. Tsonga is out and the last (truly last time) Murray has had one major injury in his whole career and a few niggles like the thumb which was 10months after the wrist.

nadal to beat djokovic in the final. Federer has not been quite the same this year which is not surprising as glandular fever ( i've had it) can be very debilitating. Cannot see murray beating nadal in the qf but he has the game to test him.

Not sure about the womens maybe ivanovic to beat sharapova

I agree with Thepubman that we should widen our horizon and maybe get some more players involved in the mix. Nadal, Federer and Djokovic might after all reach the final stages, but being a fan of tennis I'd like to think that also Roddik and Nalbandian and Hewitt and anyone really, are in the competition. I personally would like to see Safin win Wimbledon, and I'm aware that is wishful thinking!

On grass, any one of several big servers can have the match of their Life. That could be any of the top 3 as well...so with the draw out now, we can at least see what possibities COULD occur.

Karlovic as 30 can't meet any top 8 before 3rd round, but there are other such possibilities with others.

Federer has to get the nod at this stage simply on past form, and the fact that he can turn it on for the big occasion - take FO finals out and he's ruthless on big occasions. That said, we will see if there's any cracks there, from the year to date.

Queens showed us once again that a point here, and a point there OR one loose game - even over four hours, five sets, can make the difference.

Rafter didn't get one first serve in, serving at 7-7 5th set - got broken. One game, one point - not much, so I think we will see a few surprises, but the Big 3 do look good with their respective draws.

I see the usual Murray haters are in evidence again. It's clear that Andy is a No1 tennis star and a No1 human being. It's a pity the English public hate him, but I suppose a nation of tabloid readers are always going to be easily influenced.

Despite the anti-Murray crowd, I reckon Andy can make the Qtrs this year, at the very least!

I would be gob-smacked if we do not get a final including Nadal vs either Federer or Djokovic.

I reckon a fit Murray will probably make the quarter-finals but no further.

Two from Federer, Nadal and Djokovic will probably contest the final, but I wouldn't care to suggest which two. Federer, for once, has question marks over him, if only because of the glandular fever; Nadal is playing on a surface that until recently he was considered weak on; Djokovic probably isn't quite on the same level as either yet.

The winner of a near-certain Roddick-Nalbandian third round clash could be one that upsets the applecart by beating Nadal in the semi-final. Of course Murray could knock him out in the quarter-final but I don't see that happening.

I see two things that could stop Federer winning; defeat to Djokovic in the semi (less likely, and Djokovic may not get there anyway), and defeat to Nadal in the final (far more likely - in fact I'd put Nadal favourite for that even on grass now because of the way their games match up and the psychology from the French, but I'm not convinced Nadal will make the final). If neither of those things happen Federer will win. But that's quite an 'if'.
