All we need now if for him to agree his contract then,do you see the problem there chaps so far this summer we've not managed to get anybody to agree.As for the player himself i thought he was decent when i saw us play away to scunny near the start of the season and cused us problems all game and even scored.Works very hard,knows where the net is and for a change with burnley is the right sort of age.

I still believe coyle will try signing another striker and fingers crossed its the celtic fella,think him and paterson would work well together.I might be wrong but i get a feeling owen coyle isn't over keen on using ade akinbiyi as first choice striker every week..

great news, i know its just one player but i said at the end of last season, we need some pace in the team as well as bringing down the squad age and break the transfer record to put bums back on seats and all 3 of my wishes have been granted.

it certainly puts my mind at ease for now

good news...he should sign according to most reports i have heard. I think he could work well with ade so long as blake is in the hole pushing through the quality balls. i see a 4 man mid with elliott on the right berisha on the left blake in the hole....but for that to happen we need to sign a strong holding mid...whats anybody else think?

Hope he is a good signing for you. Lot of Scunny fans pleased to see him go at that price. Get ready to start counting his offsides because I have never seen any one as bad. Can be coached out of him. Let us down with his attitude after we got relegated

When I first saw him play for Scunny was very
impressed! Gives 100% (providing he wants to play for you!). He is very quick off the mark and will give opposition defences problems. Would have liked him to have stayed... but we are only a little club and everyone nicks our decent players. Still thats football life. Just pleased we got our million plus for him as usually we sell for peanuts!

Hi guys, well you have got him, and good luck to you. You will not see a lot of him, because he will be warning the bench most games.

He may get better, but you had better get used to him being offside probably ten times a game, and he may poach a few goals, but not likely to hit double figures in a season.

I like many Scunny fans have not been over impressed with him, and think he is well over rated, a £650,000 bid would have done the trick, but to get £1,000,000 is very good for us, don't think we will generate much money from the games played clause though.

hes raw yes but his pace is just what we need at the turf. as for bein offside all time owen coyle will sort that out, he'll learn alot from strikers we already have
