As for caldwell I thought he started to come into a game at the end of last season. Someone must have shook and told him to stop playing those awful long balls when he finds feet he is useful

DaleFanBucko (U12006214) posted Jun 23, 2008 I watched Paddy regularly at Rochdale when he was younger. Perhaps he was poorly managed at the time, and perhaps he was just showing immaturity, but he could be very lazy and often wouldnt chase the ball when he lost it. Having said that, it was absolutely crystal clear from the first moment I saw him play that he had phenomenal dribbling ability. Very reminiscent of the great George Best, and that praise can never be handed out lightly, but Pat really has an amazing talent!! I saw a few big clubs come to play Dale during Pat's time with us, Fulham stand out in my mind, and their Premiership defenders were run ragged by Pat. They totally couldnt handle him!! I was very surprised when Rochdale let him go when his contract ran out. If he has matured as a player, and is coached right (shouldnt be a prob with a guy like Gordon Strachan), this is a guy that can tear the SPL and the champions league apart!! Could be worth millions!!

wildwooddays (U11951934) posted Jun 28, 2008 I think Mc Court played for fermanagh? A few years ago, maybe he should go back 2 the one true team who plays in green and white! It seems to me that both Derry county team, and Derry city, have one thing in coomon, both losing teams, but anyway good luck lad. Comment on this article
