The dutch league, such a tough, technical one that Kezman managed 105 goals in 122 appearances. Spare me.

Who won the 100 metres race yesterday? lol

Bosingwa or Lahm

Whos better all-round - id say Bosingwa - put some good crosses in and is very fast down the right flank.

Bosingwa? Looked good going forward but his primary job is defending and he looked hopeless!

It's a pity we won't see Ronaldo in the Euro's anymore, I really admire him for the way he can scream in pain as if his leg his just been chopped off, when all that has really happened is that his big toe has been stood on! doh

That´s method acting and deserves our respect, live the role.

"Scolari's tactics have always been to have everybody play in midfield and on the wing and try to cross the ball to one, small isolated striker.
"

yeah that'swhy he won the World cup and you are sitting here writing on 606...

-------

He won what, 10 games with the best players in the world at his disposal?

Not quite as big an achievement as it sounds.
He's going to crash and burn at Chelsea, mark my words.

I am surprised at how people can be duped into believing that Portugal can be European Champions. The BBC commentators must be the move over-rated pundits of all time. These fellows actually sold the idea that Portugal and Spain are 'favorites' for the title! And poor james and smith bought the rubbish. What exactly has Portugal ever won? Anyone who knows anything about football knew that Portugal was at some point was going to play either Germany, Italy or France (maybe even Holland) and that they were going to get sent packing their bags. Let me put it this way, when Brazil shows up with a great team, then they are fovourites. Same for Italy, Argentina or Germany. These can be labelled 'favourites to go all they way'. But Spain and Portugal - they have yet to establish tradition, the metality that they expect to win and act on it, and hat other teams expect to lose to them. In other words, RESPECT. Any pundit who does not understand the value of tradition in winning championships should not appear on TV. Sorry BBC!

Yes, I think Mr Scolari won't be as great at Chumpski as people make out either.....I think most of us on here could have won the World Cup with the players he had....wasn't exactly hard was it?

Then he did of course beat us twice...once we were literally robbed and the second time was under McClown so that probably isn't too high up on his CV either.

Don't forget that to succeed at Chelsea he's got to win playing football, or he gets sacked come what may - so how's he going to turn that lot into "entertaining"?

THE FINAL WILL BE:

Germany vs. Italy.

-Germany will meet Croatia, but after their defeat to them in the groups they will pull through, as they are coming into form and jansen won't be playing!!! Croatia will be unlucky too and we will lose the most liked team in the tournament!!!(UNLESS YOUR ENGLISH!!!)

Russia will beat holland- italy beat spain- and italy just shave past the ruusians in extra time!!!

Scolari said before the game that he was worried about the aeriel threat from Germany but a midget could've scored with those two headers - diabolical defending. Ballack did give his Chelsea team-mate a bit of a shove to score, but it wasn't that much.
Portugal just looked lacklustre and disorganised - and Simao? He couldn't put a foot right, which begs the question; why did Scolari take off goalscorer Gomes and leave him on?
At least Big Phil will be a far more colourful character than Grant, but will he take Chelsea to the required heights? I doubt it.
