Was at the Stoop last night, what a cracking match and a fantastic atmosphere! Well done to the Rhino fans as well. What a great result for Quins, well deserved. David Howell was immense.

"Leeds did score six tries to four"

Surely not suggesting Saint Kevin could have been anythng but perfect? whistle

Great to see yet more young London-developed youngsters joining the team - and doing well.

Totally agree, I bet the flatcap brigade are gutted.

What a great game, my third visit to Quins RL over the "great divide" this year and one of the most exciting games I've watched. 9000 crowd was really good to see. OK huge support from Leeds but the Lexus stand was pretty full and I noticed quite a few people with Union shirts of various discriptions. I think this is a good sign and as I've written before for Quins RL based in the Union heartland, this must be the way forward, completely new supporters by all means but seeing a great game of rugby in summer has got to appeal to any "Rugby" supporter.

I agree with SEGULFP a sad side to see such jeering, although I was more sad to see our side of the stadium (LEXUS Blocks FG and FH) jeering "Saint Kevin" on 3 of his conversion attempts. This included 5 youngsters right by the barriers. He was a real professional and didn't bat an eyelid.

I just hope that it's not a usuall occurence as I want to take my 7 year old daughter again to the next home game against St Helens. She's been to a few "Winter Rugby" games at the Stoop and couldn't understand why people were booing, I was at a loss to explaing why.

I just hope it was a isolated incident.

To end on a +ve note a fantastic day of Rugby.

Glad you enjoyed it AFARRELL. A couple of points. I wasn't there yesterday as it was my young daughters birthday but in terms of attendence, how large was the Leeds following as all I could hear was the Quins fans? Secondly, would you not saying that booing/jeering is a regular occurence on conversions when a game is particular close and as firery as last night? Not sure its a London problem.

Where you get this figure from as the official attendance was only 3769

I saw that the attendance quoted on the BBC website was 9000 which has since dissappeared, you're right the SL website quotes 3700, I can't get onto the Quins site as its down, (must be in shock from the win), it did seem more than 3700 though. Maybe just a case of wishful thinking

Went to the game on Saturday night with my 7 yr old son and stopped over so we only just got home last night.

For our 1st venture to the Quins RL at the Stoop we were impressed with the ground and after match entertainment, and we even enjoyed the game despite being frustrated with the performance. We'll go again and make a weekend of it next season as well hopefully.

I thought Scott Hill was excellent for Quins and they looked to have a bit more desire than Leeds, especially with so many 'local' players. They need to maintain that intensity and build on it now for the future in every game.

Not many outstanding performances from Leeds, but I thought the pass from Burrow to Donald just before half time was exceptional. Still haven't had chance to watch the game back, but I thought Smith had his worst game I've seen in the 1st team. Even chasing back after kicks he didn't seem to put in much effort. I'd prefer to see Hall in ahead of him.

No BlabkBrucker I'm in sales, did I tell you about the time when I was in my school U16 team and drop kicked a goal from the halfway line?

I'm glad Rhinojockey that you enjoyed the Stoop, I must admit Quins RL put on a bit better show than RU, my daughter was quite entertained even through the 80mins which left me to concentrate on game
