In all seriousness how long would Torres stay with Liverpool IF (and its only an if so don't start getting all whiny!) they do not win anything for the next couple of seasons?

We've been lucky enough to win just about everything and Ronaldo still wants to leave! Its about the city and the country NOT the club..

Errrm... Milan or Liverpool? Barcelona or Birkenhead?

I know where I'd go and live if money was no object...and if your honest you'd all do the same irrespective of your love for your respective clubs

I am a Liverpool supporter and here I agree with a lot of the Man Utd fans. Even after winning everything at the club and Man Utd being Champions of Europe Ronaldo still wants to leave. Says alot about Utd that most people already knew anyway.

We all understand he was only ever there for the money and now he has a chance to be somewhere he WANTS to be he is getting out as fast as he can.

IM confused. If barry openly said he WANTS to move to liverpool how is that pouching????? I really think you need to think before you speak. however trying to get keane from spurs after he signed a 5 year deal you might have a point but with barry?! please, dont think you know what your talking about!

Hang on a moment when did gerrard become the center of this?? are you upset because it DID take ronaldo 4 years to win all 4 cups??? or are you scared that your star player is leaving and you guys are about to fall flat on your faces. being a liverpool fan my whole life i would love to see that as would most of the footballing world. your like chelsea buy you talent. you have a couple good players but when MR perm leaves its over the red devils.

Yes, I can see how you would find that funny. Yet you didn't fully explain the circumstances because it would have weakended your point all the more. Forgetting what Torres did to come and sign for us, dropping £800,000 from what he was receiving at Atletico M? And the reason why he had the armband in the first place? His friends wanted to have 'YNWA' in a tattoo and he said no, so he chose to have it in an armband. Matter of fact was he chose to have it to symbolise himself to the fans. Any of your fancy lot done that with 'Red Devil'? Or do you even have a club song to sing in the first place?

As for the chump, which there are plenty of, who said Gerrard hasnt won all the cups, neither has Ronaldo. UEFA Cup? No. and dont give the rubbish 'who wants the UEFA Cup?', it was said 'all cups'. And it's alright for Ronaldo to win the Champs League, we should have seen him lift it!! LFC are supposedly so rubbish yet Gerrard has won them all except for the title.

Just ignore the Manc wind ups and concentrate(that will be the hard part for the Mancs) on what the thread starter asked - What is TORRES worth? I would say that he is as influential a player as Ronaldo, but he has not had 4 seasons to get used to the Prem, so should improve further, which means he is probobly worth £85 million. Not that he is for sale at any price, unlike the players at other clubs.
