To be honest, Miller is a better option than Cousin (a non-trier), Novo (hard-worker, but extremely limited as a player) and Darcheville (flatters to deceive by running about a lot and far too injury-prone)in Wattie's 4-5-1 formation. However, he's not a prolific goal scorer in the manner of Boyd and the fact that he chose to play for the unwashed obviously counts against him. And I thought we weren't going to play that way next season? What happened to the flair players we were promised by Bain and Murray just prior to the season tickets renewal date?

Oh by the way, notice how no truly "sellic-minded" player (McGeady, Maloney, McManus, Lennon, Hartley etc.) would EVER play for Rangers? And we're the ones called bigots(Remember, Broon and Robson - they hate you too... "We don't care what the "who" says?")

And get this. sellic's hatred of all things blue is so great that they would never sell one of their best players during the January window while in contention for the League (Hutton) or consistently try to sell others to the highest bidder (McGregor, Thomson, Boyd, Cuellar) while their greatest rivals strengthen their squad.

The truth can hurt sometimes. Rangers have to spend more on quality players or the same thing that has happened in six of the last eight seasons is going to happen again and again. Murray should sell up or speculate to accumulate.

with regards to the revel in which Miller celebrated his goal against us...apart from the usual delight he'd have from just scoring had he not scored for a while befor that game? probably an expression of relief as any extra Celtic/Rangers feeling the boy might have.

That's a side-issue of course but it seems that a lot is made of it and I think it meant a lot less.

As for him coming, hmmmm, obviously I'm as reserved as the next man but let's wait and see. I fear it's not the best move but now that he's pulling on that special blue jersey he should receive the support of a club that should strive to be the best (on and off field and in behaviour and dignity).

If he's mince, then he won't be here forever.

The Velicka move interests me though. Not a world beater but I think it may be a good deal here, I'm keeping my eye in that one.

£1.9 million for Miller! What a hoot!!! That's put a serious dent in 'Wattie's Warchest' too.
And we get some of the loot from the transfer deal! Looking forward to 4-in-a-row!!!

Like a lot of Rangers fans, I don't care that he's played for Celtic. I just don't think he's good enough fdor where we're trying to get to. If we'd got him cheap and he was just going to replace Cousin and round out the squad then fine, but we've paid a lot for him -he's clearly going to go straight into the team.
I can only hope that Walter's planning to play Miller as a partner for Boyd, rather than as a lone striker.
I just hope we've got enough cash left over for a right-back.

Clever move by Wattie signing a player who he knows and who will work hard for him.

Forget all this tribal, neo-sectarian stuff and get behind him.

Hmm, Kenny is a great player if the team he is in plays the correct formation for him... he is not a prolific goal scorer, thats for sure. As many have commented I cant see him taking Rangers to a higher level, but who knows, its a funny old game.

I do think that the fact he has crossed the old firm divide once again shows what type of person he is... you must question his passion for the team he plays for if he doesnt care if its Celtic or Rangers. I think it shows a lack of respect for both clubs and fans.

Personally, as a Celtic fan I was sad to see him leave, having said that, I know both Rangers and Celtic can do better.

Good luck to him though... when playing for Scotland anyway!
