Hamilton Takes Pole For Canadian GP

Formula One
comment on the article

Lewis Hamilton will start from pole position again for Canadian GP. Great Qualifying by Kubica who ended up 2nd. Bad news for Ferrari who are slow, specially in Sector 3.

But a wierd line up, 1st 5 drivers from 5 different teams, something which we are not used to. But it will be great race.

And Hamilton should win it, because Mclaren have great pace. But Hamilton and Mclaren will have to be careful, because safety car at wrong time could ruin their race. Specially because safety car periods are very common in Montreal because barriers are very close. Also with track surface breaking up, more chance of SC period.

And also there is 60% chance of rain, so anything can happen.

It good to see people squashing those anti-lewis idiots. Whatever happened to supporting someone who is from this same country?!!
Anyway excellent lap, hopefully he can go on to win.

How come T Glock's time is quoted as 1.18.031 yet he's 11th?

everyone goes faster in q2 than q3, as your not allowed to refuel between the last qualifying stage and the race itself, so everyone runs on lower fuel in q2

bow4fowler (U8294952) - I bet that there is a lot of foreigners here, oh and remember that England has become more 'multi-cultural' in recent years, but yeah COME ON HAMILTON, he shouldn't be supported by british only, cause he's TALENT ---> FACT

99% of people only watch f1 for hamilton, stop making funnies. Just because some anoracks like to polish the pole watching raikonnen doesnt mean itv should cater to them.

I think that if raikonnen wins it will go some way to establishing him as comparable to hamilton. Right now on the hamilton-talent scale he is only a 6.

Booooooooooring, Lewis this, Lewis that, how boring. People watch GP cause they love motorsport not purely to listen to Lewis this, Lewis that. Fed up hearing it, there are other British drivers out there also. Roll on Alonso at Ferrari where Ron Dennis isn't being biased towards his baby and we will see how good he isn't!

i thought we managed to shut up sycophants like SportsAddict through superior arguments - but it appears like a hydra-headed monster, a new breed has emerged - i mean just read popefridge and you wonder how McLaren apologists can ever be taken seriously

i mean how can any sane person compare Kimi (a world champion) to Hamilton (a loser)

McLaren worshippers should stop lowering the tone of this site - otherwise...
