Double-Dragon (U12016909) posted Jun 7, 2008 I think £3m for Johnson is about right as you can see he'll keep improving. If a club comes in with £2m fo Whits, I think the club will have to accept. We'd have to keep Ledley though.

IPSWICHTOWNFC14 (U1814861) posted Jun 7, 2008 Yeah we spent about £3,000,000 in January on Norris, Quinn and Sumulikoski. Looks like we are prepared to spend atleast equal to that this summer if not more but we won't be spending £3,000,000 for one player- highly unlikely anyway.

TractorBoy_4Ever (U8603449) posted Jun 7, 2008 Rumours are saying that Jim has been given 13million and might be more if Haynes is sold but i think it will be closer to 5m. I reckon Johnson would be a very good centre back and, cardiff fans, would he make a decent captain?

SBFF ( Bluebird: Galaxy Class ) (U9089495) posted Jun 7, 2008 Johnston works in tandem with Loovens and as well asan excellent defender, can score enough goals per season (if used this way) to make him an excellent prospect.

SBFF ( Bluebird: Galaxy Class ) (U9089495) posted Jun 7, 2008 Well i do 07, not sure all will agree with it though, but if thats the deal what have we got to lose, if he is not doing the job then he won't play, if he doesn't play he won't get paid. Sounds good to me!
