Nayim and Gary Lineker didn't do to badly when they joined us from Barcelona in 1989 so I think Dos Santos will do well

Tormentor Torres. Dos Santos will help alot and I personally am not expecting champions league place but winning UEFA CUP seems alot more realistic now. I find your lack of faith disturbing.

i hate these stupid gooners saying he cant be good if barca let him go lets go through the list of players they have let go cheap.

faberagas, quaresma, riquelme, saviola, pique plus more and these are quality players so dont go a say he cant be good cos barca let him go cos he can

try not to use the word stupid when you spell and punctuate like that but I agree with your point.

I wish him all the best - but you have to question his ambition a little. If he is a success he will doubtless move on.

It is good to see him and Vela in North London though, so I hope he does well for you.

I've watched him on youtube and he seems superb. If he settles in well in his first season then perhaps that would ease the pressure if Berbatov decided to leave.

merryPongmaster - why will he undoubtedly move on?

in 2 years and even perhaps 1 year spurs have a good chance of being in the top 4, and then he will have champions league

The amount of people writing Santos off especially from rival clubs is astounding, is it that difficult to actually watch La Liga and one of the biggest clubs in the world in Barce now and again to have an actual udnerstanding of the politics going on at the club last season and how good this guy really is?
Santos is a player very comparible to Modric, Cahil or more likely Babel. Good with the ball at his feet and good pace and dribbling, but lacks merely because of inexperience at a high level and a killer instinct in front of goal, all things youd expect a 19 year old to learn very quickly. However his agent wanted more money and has practically poisoned the kids mind, Santos also saw Bojan getting regular starts and was not happy at his fringe role especially with all the bad blood in cloak room as it stands, which is why he left. Most Barce fans would agree that he is a very promising young talent and anyone who writes him off is going to look very very stupid come a season or two .
