I agree! We've all known it for ages!
If we can't keep hold of a player who lives down here and actually wants to stay, then we'll never persuade a player from elsewhere to join us.
I was glad to see that Slade didn't get any abuse from Mildy, he said that he moved to Southend because, "their chairman has AMBITION"
He obviously wanted the fans to know that it is Fry and Starnes that have caused him to move on!

Oh and the budget for next season comes from the early-bird season ticket sales... Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!
We've barely sold any season tickets, so there's no money for contract negotiations then.
Well we had a good run in league one, but if the current board don't do something drastic, I think we'll be back to the days of conference football.

But the person I feel most sorry for is Danny Schofield. He must be wondering what kind of amatuer outfit he's just joined!
On behalf of the fans i'd just like to say Sorry Danny... and good luck Steve Mildenhall.

fry and starnes have got a lot to answer for...
slade deserves a medal for staying and trying to do the best job he can... with nothing... quickly becoming a laughing stock, (theres a reason why leeds had those tshrts printed)
c'mon fry and starnes, this should be the kick up the backside they need... seems to me to be a big pockets, little arms syndrom...need something..

ah yes, danny schofield and downes, we are a decent club lads, just play your hearts out, the fans will love you both, we just hope the big men upstairs follow suit!!

Well I am not going to say I told you so but I got slated for what I have been putting on the board about the directors, for which I appologised perhaps now you are saying what I have said maybe I will get one.
All I can say to the board is you get back what you reap.

I agree that there is little doubt that the club has lost its ambition and with it a large nunber of season ticket holders. I have renewed my own out of a long term commitment to the club. However if Russell is not given the resources he has no chance of being successful. Where have Mr Frys promises gone? Is Mr Starnes the problem?

Mildenhall was never gonna slate Slade that's how we got him in the 1st place!

Now, surprise surprise, we're after a season long loan keeper (Begovic), I thought they were going to move away from loans this coming season?!

"We have had to be careful with the provisional budget that's been given to Russell. It is smaller than last season"

Yeovil is ripping apart at the seams. the director's work and views may have been fine 5 years ago when we were in the conferece, but we are now in league one. Once again we have to dell into the loan market for players as we have announced that our transfer budget will be smaller than last years. I thought we were going to rebuild and challenge for the top half this season no wimper and die and go down to league 2. When will these people learn that success only comes with spending money. I hate to say it but next season looks to be over before it has even started blue
