Mark Hughes

Manchester City
comment on the article

Are the City fans happy with the appointment of Mark Hughes as their new manager? He's done really well with a cash-strapped Blackburn side, let's see what he can do with a bit of money now eh?

All the other teams outside the top four are making the numbers up. How many times have we heard newly appointed managers say "were heading for the stars " "when what they really mean is "thanks for the loads of money your're paying me" and " I'am really sorry fan's for letting you down , but hey i've made a few bob "
Having said all that I do respect old "sparky" for what he's done as a player and the work he's done at Blackburn.

I think Mark is a good choice, i just hope some youngsters get a chance with him, players like Ched Evans and Sam Williamson ( who looked decent on his debut). So yeah, Come On City! :)

As a City season ticket holder, I have to say I'm delighted. Quite simply the best manager in the Prem on a points per pound basis. Won't take any crap from premadonas too. - Just waht you need if want to build a good team.

City have suffered for a long time from indecision in the boardroom and indiscipline in the changing room. Pancho can do a lot about the second but the first is still a big question mark.

Mark can do as well as he likes so long as he gives utd 6 points.. signing ronaldinho would be a mistake however, one man rarely makes a wining team ..

Regarding Ronaldinho.. don't do it! let him go to Milan.. Not worth splashing out all those wages on the lazy fat party lover.. he was great but he's fading quickly. I'm well chuffed we bought Geovanni off you, I hope he gets another winner against Man Utd..
