Aaron Ramsey

Premier League Manchester United
comment on the article

So, we've (basically) signed him. Undisclosed offer, but believed to be around £5/6 mil.

Ramsey looks like a promising talent and a hot prospect for the future. Finally another Welsh Dragon? (excuse the painful cliche)

Thoughts?
What is his natural/best position?
Where wil he play/fit in?

(Subject to medical)

Doc everton
I agree mate. If I were Ramsey I would go to Goodison although they probably wouldn't loan him back to Cardiff which is sensible IMHO. BTW I am a United fan.

Doc_Everton:

What are you babbling on about? If you seriously believe this move can be bracketed with the Alan Smith fiasco then you're an idiot.

That was years ago when we had no money. Now we've probably got 25/30 mil to spend and we've watched the lad a dozen or so times. We've got every desire to challenge for up and coming players and it depends on the kid himself who he signs for. If he wants to stay closer to home then Arsenal can be ruled out. Liverpool won't appeal coz of the lack of 1st team opportunities so I reckon it's between us and Man Utd.

Simply put, does he want to make the step up now and play Premier League football with a team playing in Europe or does he want to move to Man U and go out on loan for the next 2/3 years?

We have a good chance of signing him and it's not gonna come down to money this time, just whether he wants to play in the Prem now with us or stay in the Championship on loan.

I have heard a lot of great things about this kid, but have only seen him play in the cup final for a few minutes.

Can someone tell me exactly where he plays and if he is comparable to any player at all?

Think we can count Arsenal out. Why is he going to go to a team when he can hardly talk to anyone in his own language. If he does choose Arsenal I guess the next thing he'll be doing is getting French lessons. That being said Scottish is like a foreign language at times so he might aswell just stay with Cardiff.

Doc_Everton, thats a silly remark to make. I think Everton have a good chance of signing him, and if he goes to Man U or Arsenal only to be loaned to Cardiff again, all for the sake of a bigger pay cheque, it's a player we don't want in the first place.

If he does make the right choice for the sake of his career, it will be Everton, because at Everton he will at least get first team experience, where as at Liverpool (who have yet to even make an offer I understand), Arsenal or Man U, he'd be a reserve or a benchwarmer at best.

Well, he has Ronaldo-like skill, Giggs-like bal control, discipline and a good attitude. Add to the fact that hes only 17.

I think he could be better player than Nani but its unsure whether he will be here at Old Trafford or back on loan to Cardiff next season

Hmm im not too sure either.. MUG!

I think the whole of this article and comments sums up the arrogance of ManUSA fans. Idiots.
