I have been thinking up a list of possible players Big Ek may sign....he knows our problem areas and i think he will act on this, be it with permanent signings or loans....

At the back I would go for Gabbidon, Gardner, Johnson from Cardiff and that Berra fella, i havnt seen much of him but i hear he is highly rated, if we can get 2 of these it is a step in the right direction.

In the middle of the park Buffel would be brilliant but also the likes of koumas or tongue would be good....any ideas?

We dont need any strikers if we can hold on to what we got.

A few loans would also benefit, what about them 2 argentinians at liverpool or sinclair or sahar from chelsea or some of the arsenal youngsters....shud try get kuszak on a cheeky loan deal aswell...or djourou again

"i think in big eck we have someone like redknapp!! you dont need to spend millions to build a decent side!!!!"

Not so much the case! Rednap snaps players up becaused the clubs wealthy owner alows him to pay huge wage bills, They are favorites to land Crouch on £70K a week, Villa are interested but they have a wage cap of £45K!

Arsenal are the same they have a cap of £50K, look at some of the free signings rednap got! Inc Campbell he earns double for them than he did at Arsenal 90K a week!

I can understand Arsenal fans stance, if next season say a Palace player breaks Larsson's leg, and that costs us Promotion even if it was not on purpose! Many Bluess fans would bear a grudge on Palace!

We still have good contacts with Arsenal!

About players, i dont think we need to make many changes get rid of players who never featured much under McLeish and sell those unhappy to play in the Championship Kapo, De Ridder, O'Connor and Queudrue. Get 1-2 CB's they dont have to be £4M players and loans would be fine! Our current defence would be good enough for the Championship!

Save the cash for the Prem i say!

Who knows about new players, McLeish is linked with 2-3 from the SPL!

And Koumas who knows, i have heard that Bruce is ineterested in Larsson, Kapo and Muamba!

Bolton are interested in Kapo and Muamba aswell!

Maybe a swap for Kapo and Koumas?

Kapo cost £1.5M but touted as £5M, Koumas Cost £5M and touted at £4M, so maybe a straight swap!

I would do that, as Koumas can play in the centre, but Kapo was never tried there i still think he was more happy and played better off the front man!

kapo for koumas?...one bit part player for another..Kapo (when fit)is to in and out of games and sometinmes becomes a passenger ,fine if you have a decent team to carry him for that special moment(not often enough)Koumas ..drifts in and out of games and has been fairly average at clubs...harsh but true...If Kapo is going i'd sooner have the dosh so Mcleish can do as he likes with it ok

Agreed i just saw it as Koumas could add a bit of creativity to centre midfield, and looked at it as swaping a player who cost £1.5M for another who cost £5M

McLeish will have is own plans, and so players linked with us before maynot be linked now McLeish is in charge, except for Darren Fletcher Bruce wanted him, and i think when we get back up he will be one of the first players McLeish will try to land!
