Ched evans is going to be a top class striker for manchester city and Wales, I have watched ched evans at city reserves and u18 level and he has always looked like he was something special.

Well done ched and Wales

Nice finish. Reminds me ironically of a Nigel Clough goal AGAINST Man City in 1989. Carbon copy but from the opposite flank.

Use to watch him in Rhyl with his older brother when he was 12 playing our localo league and i always said he was a little Robbie Fowler!

I taught him everything he knows mind winkeye

Lol no serious he has a brilliant future and the fact he plays for my Blue boys makes it even sweeter

Did some sad reporter throw the question to Ched about it being 'FLUKE'? I would imagine so but had it been Ronaldo or Rooney the goal would have been one of the greatest.. I haven't seen it yet but it sounded lie the one DEnis Law scored for CITY in 1974 that sent Man United down ha ha ha ha ha , that wasn't a fluke -BUT IT WAS FUNNY!!!!!

tedknott....that Denis Law goal, he was virtually stood on the line. Ched's last night was a pure brilliant flash of arrogant intuitive goal scoring. I hope he comes to Ninian on loan, or becomes a regular for Man C. I totally agree that if it had been either of the 2 Ronnies it would have been hailed as a masterclass in finishing!doh

Young Mr Evans is a top class player. I saw him around dozen times last season play for Norwich, and I was gutted to hear that he won't be returning to us after ManC offered him a three year contract. He scored some absoloute blinders for us, and he helped keep us in the Championship.

Wales and Manchester City have a star in the waiting. Well in Ched, and thanks for everything last season!!!

As a Republic of Ireland fan i can only look on with envy at the young emerging talent coming out of Wales. Fingers crossed young players like Evans and Vogts can keep progressing and make it all the way to the top.

Everyone talking about Ched's amazing flick to grab the winner but no ones mentioned Ledleys brilliant turn and run down the wing to provide a pin point cross.. ronaldo would have proud of that one!
