Hull FC, through the Grapevine email service, have just announced that Michael Croker has signed on a 3 year contract from 2009. He has been released from the final year of his contract by Melbourne Storm. Maybe we are now seeing the fruits of Hetherington and Rule's trip to Oz. A great signing for the club and at 27 in his prime. What do people think? I just hope it is not the hackers at work again!

When fit then yes, Manu, Dowes, Carvell, Crocker, King, Wheeldon, Tickle, Whiting, Washbrooke, Thackery Radders, Cusack...ALL possible forwards for us...it looks like a very exciting pack to me...but we have to hold on to all of them...Minus Radders and Cusack...they can go

I can tell you now. My dad has said that Washbrook is definitely leaving next season for Bradford.

I don't know why we would want to get rid of him though? He is a great player and still young.

The only reasons he would leave is if he wants to or has some disciplinary issues meaning Agar doesn't want him.

My Dad once told me that a bloke in a red suit climbed down the chimney on Christmas Eve and left me Ker-Plunk, Buckaroo and Seven and The Ragged Tiger by Duran Duran.

Same here Remy, but he only left me Ker-Plunk and Buckaroo. I think your dad was having you on with that album - I reckon it was a present from your dad but he was too embarrassed to admit it. (Ker-Plunk takes too long to set up and doesn't last long enough).

Yeah, Ker-Plunk is the Mark Calderwood of games - flashy, promises quite a bit but ultimately disappoints and leaves you wanting to take it back for a full refund. Twister on the other hand is the Jamie Peacock - simple, drive it in hard and keeps you going fir the full 80 minutes.

Can't believe all these 'Crocker is coming to cover for ....... leaving'

Perhaps, just perhaps he is coming to strengthen the pack we already have.

If anybody leaves out of the forwards, then good luck to them. However, If we can keep hold of the majority, we will have an excellent pack.

Dowes
Cusack
King
Carvell
Thackery
Wheeldon
Manu
Radford
Tickle
Crocker
Washbrook

Michael Crocker is a real quality player. He would run through a brick wall if his coach asked him. He puts in some real big hits, Storm haven't lost a game hes played in. Cant wait to see him go up against the likes of Peacock, Graham and Burgess.

Etl-Fcfan

just look at it though mate. Carvell hasn't signed the contractthat would make him SO much money and keep him at the club he says "i want to stay", so if he wants to stay WHY hasn't he signed ?

Thats why people arelooking at it like that

After being in australia for the last 6 months and watchin the nrl, origin and test games that michael crocker has played the bloke is an absolute monster. there is no doubt in my mind he is gonna make a huge impact in the super league and see hull move up the ladder. The fact he hasn't lost a game with melbourne storm in the last 20 25 games is no fluke.
