CheeryCreps (U11075424) posted May 26, 2008 It was a good solid win to start Fed's French Open. I still think it is going a bit far to say Nadal will 'def' win again. It is not just Fed who is going to give him a long competitive match this year unlike last where he didnt lose a set to the final. He could play Djokovic in the semis and that could easily be a very long 5 setter as shown in Hamburg, and maybe Nadal might start to feel the strain of putting so much into his tennis the last few weeks, (just maybe). Any opinions

gilottil (U11616855) posted May 26, 2008 I also completely agree that you cannot just take it as a given that Nadal will stroll away with this one. There are two weeks of playing ahead of the players and anything can happen...just think of the blisters he developed in Rome for example.
