the amount of complete and utter idiots that call themselves football fans are the reason that i'm falling away from being a fan. i'm still into football as a chelsea fan, but the rivalry between man united and arsenal is ridiculous. and now that chelsea are in the frame you 2 dont like it. sort it out and stop complaining, at least now its more fun that there are 3 teams that can challenge for the premier league title.

and now onto the fact of the champions league final. if you have any sense and are not a biased football fan of man united, and even of chelsea like myself. if you think either team easily deserved it there is something majorly wrong with you.

first half: man united owned chelsea, if it wasnt for tevez's miss, and cechs double save it would have been over.
second half: chelsea got lucky, just before half time, to score through vandersar falling over. this inspired the team to play better and chances kept coming, it just needed one of those to go in, drogba hit the post.
in football that happens.
into extratime: still as even as ever, terry clears off the line, lampard hits the bar. essien narrowly wide.
either team could have won it then.

and penalties. I DONT CARE WHT YOU SAY, THEY ARE ALL DOWN TO LUCK!
you either take a good penalty and the keeper saves it, or they dont.
you can take a poor penalty, yet it can still go in if the keeper went the wrong way.
ronaldo tried to be a superstar, and didnt get the power to prevent cech saving.
and with terry, drogba would have taken the penalty, however i wouldnt have said it was definite he would score, he misses a lot of national ones for ivory coast.

terry is the captain, and a true man of passion, he knows that all he had to do was be confident and score. yes he missed, bad luck. happens in football, dont it?
yeah it does.

and all this about spitting or whatever, so what, if you havent noticed most footballers have bad things about them. superstar money being the main thing. at least JT has the passion for his club, ronaldo doesnt, if he did he would confirm he is staying rather than babbling about.

as for drogba, wouldnt care one bit if he went this summer, new manager in, and the frontline sorted out.

The BBC website claims the scores were level,4-4, when Terry took his penalty, but this in incorrect. Terry only had to score to win it for Chelsea. He missed. Then the scores were back level, as Ronaldo had also missed one previously. Once again the maths of BBC staff is in question. We had same probs with the Premiership table points scores. Get a grip, for goodness sake. Someone needs to be fired & fast!!!

That would make the BBC correct, then, as both Manchester United and Chelsea scored 4 penalties each before John Terry took his. Remember, it was Manchester United who took the first penalty.

I do wish they would stop attributing the miss to him slipping, when you actually watch it the ball has already left his foot when he slips - he managed to miss it all by himself! what a guy!
