So Proud

Championship Bristol City
comment on the article

Just returned to the hotel, feeling bitterly disappointed even nauseous but nevertheless very proud. Two good teams playing football that showed variety and imagination. In the semi-finals against Palace we saw four excellent goals and the final was decided by another excellent strike - just a shame for us it was from a Hull city player this time.

I hope Hull go on to confound the doomsayers and perform well in the Prem and that we join them soon.

Will be meeting up with some Hull supporters (who are staying in the same hotel as us) for drinks later, we lost so the first round will be on us so does anybody know somewhere in central London that sells natch? - BTW thought both groups of supporters in the main stands got behind their teams, I will save my moans about the stupid "suits" in the boxes either side of us for another time.

I imagine there will be a fair few attempts at Wind-ups over the next few weeks, I will try my best to pretend to be wound-up and respond appropriately as I know it is important for you.

Looking forward to another good season for Bristol City next year, in the meantime, CIDER I UP LANDLORD!

PS Prawn sandwiche very good!

Argyle fan here. Firstly .. Well done Brizzle. You have had a marvellous season and you should be proud of each other. Fantastic - and remember that in every event / news / etc there is a positive. You may have to dig deep for it but it will be there. In your case it's not deep - you would have missed the hype around the Argyle game.
As for capt-gas I suspect your single brain cell popped out when you went to the gents earlier - now you have none left - as befitís a supporter of a small / not worthwhile / going nowhere club. I have heard that Rovers are building a new stadium with a capacity of 52. That means you should get almost a full house for home games.
Finally capt-gas which of the 2 lists below are better. (and no disrespect to any team)
1. Plymouth / Derby / Wolves / Sheff Utd and Wed / Ipswich / Birmingham OR
2. Cheltenham / Leyton Orient / Hartlepool / Hereford / Fotheringham Ladies / The Dog and Duck Sunday team.

So - Well done Brizzle again - be proud and I hope when Argyle visit next season you win 12 - 1 (OK OK OK I lie sometimes)applause

commiserations TD.

Whichever of you. Hull or City, had made it to the prem, it would have been a breath of fresh air. Its just a shame that one of you had to lose.

Chin up for next season, you've proved you're true promotion contenders. You have a good team and a good manager, I've no doubt you'll be knocking on the promotion door again next season.

Hola Santiago

Cracking game, great fan cameraderie, brilliant atmosphere.

The only downers were the result and the empty seats in some of the corporate areas (especially when I know a lot of true City and Hull fans missed out)

Can't wait for next season!

Unlucky City, but to be fair you got what you deserved, Hull were far better and always seemed to have the better of you, sadly too many b city players didnt turn up today, Adebola and trundle were shocking, and thats really been city's season good play up to the front men and then nothing. i hope city will still invest as if they were in the league as they do need it.

No offence to be a realist in all this, I think city fans will be dissapointed next season, there will be a hangover from this season & expectation levels will be sky high!!!!....the league will be harder due to the resources/ size of clubs now in it and the extra few with parachute payments, will any players leave for higher wages elsewhere????

Just like to say, fair play to Hull City and especially to Dean Windass.Never been a big fan of his, until saturday.Showed his true colours, cracking goal & to help Bradley Orr the way he did was great.Well done Dean.As for City, can't really fault the lads, great season and well done Gary Johnson, don't go leaving us yet the job ain't finished!!A couple of decent signings(strikers) in the summer should do the trick. All the best for next season and have a good summer.
