Full Time, it's over. Welcome to the final matchday thread of the season, but lets not get sentimental.
Kicking off the thread
What would be a better way than to say happy birthday to Dougie Freedman? He was the one who scored the late goal at Elland Road and also the one who set up Howson the goals at Brunton Park. So, happy birthday Freedman and I think it would be nice for all of you at the game to sing that to him.
This season...
It's been class and it's had everything.... We've definately had our Ups and Downs.
Downs
- Administration
- 15 points deduction
- Gus Poyet leaving for Tottenham
- Dennis Wise leaving for Newcastle
- Our slump in form that left us battling for a play off spot
Ups
- Our outstanding start to the season, get rid of the 15 points deduction and showing the footballing world that We Are Leeds!
- Record Attendances through the entire season for league 1
- Top of the league with a 15 points deduction for a couple of hours mid December
- The appointment of Gary McAllister, which has seen a legend back at our club and it's great to see him do so well!!
- Making the play offs. Face it, 15 points down and still finishing 5th in the league in the play offs.
- Reaching the play off final. Coming back from 2-1 down to win 3-2 shows character.
- Wises' record from December 26th to when he left: P 8, W 2, D 2, L 3, that's eight points in 7 games. So, looks like it was a good thing that he left – A good point from Sniffer72.
- Playing lots of "new" teams in League 1 and adding something to their season (not meant in a "arrogant Leeds" way). This was suggested by weloveyouCarlisle and it is a pretty good high point.
- ... (We all know what we want it to be)
The Match
It's been a great season and now it's nearly over. It all comes down to this lads and lasses. Everything we've been through, rests on the match on Sunday. We've gotten past Carlisle and Donny won convincingly over Southend. The last time we played Doncater was tough, they out played us, but that one Alan Sheehan strike did it for us.

Should Sheehan start at left back instead of Johnson? If yes, should Johnson return to the midfield and who would you take out for him? OR, would you just like to see the same team that played against Carlisle go out?
