looking a bit more ominous for Ronaldo staying.........Marca headlines today suggest a bid of 80,000,000 euros, plus a willingness to include Robinho in the deal. Jorge Mendes, probably needing a better pay out from his percentage of Ronaldo, says that there are no obstacles which cannot be overcome for the transfer to go ahead

Quite funny someone saying theres 10 teams challenging for the spanish title. lol. Most leagues inc spain only have a handful of good teams, its not just england. Maybe from 4 to 10 spain are better though, but 10 teams do not challenge for the league, valencia won it a while ago but its just barca and real. England its at least 3 last season.

you should realise that if ronaldo wants to leave he will. there is no stopping him, its been his dream since childhood and if man u dont sell him he will go when his contract expires.

I have a feeling he will leave no matter what. If so then Man Utd need to make sure we get the best price for him. 100 million is about right in the current climate. The problem with that is clubs like Real Madrid will back off hoping to force Utd to drop the price with Ronaldo threatening to see out his contract and leave for nothing. It's happened before and it could happen here.

Kevin Phillips would be the best replacement for Ronaldo this season & maybe next. He's proven throughout the world.

Sell him for the £100 million and move on. You could still be a Premier league winning team without him.

In my view, Ronaldo would end up at Madrid. Here is why:
1-United has just won both the Champ league and the EPL. Therefore there is not any pressure on the team to produce results, they have done it.
2-Ronaldo value would never be higher than it is right now. It is unlikely that he could have much more success than he has last season.
3-United can get the maximum value for Ronaldo right now. What does United have to win by keeping him longer and risking him getting less productive or even injured?

This is all media hoo-hah, ronaldo has never said to SAF he wants to go....sure, if he doesn't like playing for United, which he has never said publicly, he would be a burden on the team, not giving his best...but this is all media hypo...let's wait and see! If the guy becomes a total apostate, I would personally lose respect for him, but it doesn't take away the fact that he is extremely talented! Many players have a bad attitudes, but one cannot deny their skill...if he does not give his best, his value will decrease, right!!! So lets just wait, and ignore the story-hungry media, until we see what happens, before we start throwing rotten tomatoes.

Ronaldo will be gone in the summer IMO. His heart doesn't look to be in it this season and Utd should have taken the 75 million on offer last summer.
